the question:I just found out the home I bought is on a septic system even though the

inspector I hired said the house was on City sewer. What can I do?

the answer:Call the Inspector and have them come back out. Many times when a home wasbuilt many years ago sewer was not in an area thus a septic system was required.Then later on sewer services was installed and homeowners then converted over.Perhaps that is the case here. The listing for your home should have also indicat-ed whether the property had a public or private sewer system.
