The Second Coming of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 24:30 “And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory”.

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 25:31-32 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him,

then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence,

and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats”.

Zech. 14:4 “On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount

of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west.....Then the LORD my God

will come, and all his holy ones with him”.

John 14:1-3John 14:1-4 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were

not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be

also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 [NLT] “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so

you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the

trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So

encourage each other with these words”.

Why God “Raptures” Us....What He is Rescuing Us From!

Revelation 6

1st seal: Rider-white horse-conquerer- anti-Christ??2nd: Rider on red horse causes people to kill each other 3rd: Rider on black horse-brings famine on the earth. 4th: Rider on pale horse-death. 25% of people die.5th: Some saved during the tribulation are martyred.6th: A great earthquake, sun becomes black, moon becomes like blood, stars fall to earth, every mountain & island moved. 7th: An angel was given 7 trumpets.

The Seven TrumpetsRevelation 8 & 9

1st: Hail & fire mixed with blood thrown down on earth. 1/3 of trees are burned up, all green grass burned up.2nd: 1/3 of sea becomes like blood, 1/3 of sea creatures die, 1/3 of ships destroyed.3rd: 1/3 of the rivers and springs become bitter, many people die.4th: 1/3 of sun moon and stars are darkened so that 1/3 of the day and night do not shine-it will be dark.5th: Bottomless pit opened, smoke pours out- air & sun are dark, locusts released-sting people like scorpion for 5 months. 6th: 1/3 of remaining mankind dies.7th: Proclamation from an angel that Jesus Christ has now taken over the earth and His Kingdom will now rule and reign forever!

1st bowl: Foul and loathsome sores come upon everyone who has taken the mark of the beast.2nd: The entire sea became blood and everything in it died.3rd: All the rivers and springs become blood. No drinking water left.4th: Men are scorched with great heat from the sun.5th: The whole earth becomes dark, there was no more light.6th: Three evil spirits released to go and draws kings of the earth into the Battle of Armageddon.7th: The greatest earthquake in the history of the earth, every island and mountain gone, and 100 pound hailstones fall from the sky onto the remaining people on earth.

Rev. 9:20-21 “But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn

to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that

can neither see nor hear nor walk! And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their sexual

immorality or their thefts”.

Rev. 16:9b, 11 “..... they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory....and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God”.

Rev 3:10 “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the

hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the

earth.”

I Thess 1:10 “...and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead,

even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come”.

“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus

Christ...”. 1 Thess. 5:9
