Horizon Motorhomes, based in Ballina, Northern NSW, has been designing and building built-in motorhomes since 1995.

The Horizon Motorhomes Team

Built into the Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Benz Sprinter base vehicles, the current range boasts a number of motorhome layouts.

The high-quality cabinetry is built into the vehicle body rather than onto the chassis, retaining the structural integrity of the vehicle and giving you a safer and more fuel-efficient ride. There are no joins and no movement, making your drive a quiet one, just like driving a car. What’s more, our built-in Fiat motorhomes allow you to pull into a standard car-parking space and give you more passing space on narrow roads.

For the more adventurous, 4x4 options are available in the Horizon range, giving you the freedom to explore some of the more remote areas of Australia in a luxurious touring vehicle that drives like a car.

The Horizon 4x4 Motorhome is fully equipped for outback travel.

MERCEDES BENZ INCLUSIONSHorizon’s 4x4 base vehicle, the Mercedes Benz 419CDI and 519CDI, is ordered direct form the factory in Dusseldorf with optional Mercedes inclusions featuring; MBUX, multi-media system 10.25” touchscreen with navigation and voice command, electric sliding door and smartphone tray for wireless charging. These options are in addition to the standard equipment highlights of; blind spot assist, active brake assist, lane keeping assist, attention assist and reversing camera, with 1950 angle.

HORIZON MOTORHOMES INCLUSIONSHorizon builds the 4x4 with these standard

inclusions; 200ah lithium battery system, 2000w inverter, 200w solar charging system for all your power needs off-grid. We supply and fit two x Anderson plugs. One Anderson plug is wired through the DC to DC Charger giving you the option to increase solar charging capacity if required. The second Anderson plug is wired direct to the battery for power in/out to run an air compressor, or any range of 12v appliances. An additional water tank increases your capacity to remain at your “secret” location longer, providing you approximately 145L.Side and rear entry door flyscreens are fitted to keep out unwanted bugs (windows have these built-in).

Finally, a 5mm forged aluminium protection “bash-plate” is fitted underbody to protect the important running gear of the vehicle.
