A rainforest is a forest that has lots of rain and animals. It is dense and hot and humid.Only about 2 precent of sunlight gets onto the forest floor.

Rainforests are found all over the WORLD. They are mostly found near the equator because it is hot there. The Amazon rainforest is in South America. Africa and Asia also have tropical rainforests. They are found in the middle of the world.

Reptiles, lots of birds, tigers and snakes live in the rainforest. There are all other types of animals and there are trees. Also frogs but in the frog category the green tree frog is the most common.

It has a lot of trees and it has a lot of puddles. It has a lot of rain. It is dense.

Rainforests have green all around. They are called rainforests because they have lots of rain and they are forests. Some rainforests are starting to look like deserts because people are cutting down trees.
