One Touch Real Time Recording
The PRV-LX10 is designed for quick and
easy video recording from all professional
video sources onto DVD-R or DVD-RW
media. Pioneer’s real-time hardware
VBR encoding process provides the
highest quality video, relative to the bit
rate setting.
Professional Design
The PRV-LX10 is designed to meet the
DVD needs of a wide variety of video
and post-production environments. The
recorder offers multiple analogue and
digital connections and RS-422A and
IEEE-1394 (firewire) control capabilities
for easy integration into existing
professional media facilities. Applications
include one-step conversion of video
assets to DVD, easy authoring of video
projects and video archiving to the highly
compatible DVD-Video format. Virtually
any project that needs to be delivered
on DVD can benefit from the PRV-LX10.
DVD AuthoringMenu Creation
A DVD Title or Chapter menu can be
easily created including buttons with
images grabbed directly from the source
video. A library of button templates and
background graphics makes it easy to
select a unique look and identity for the
DVD. User-created background graphics
can also be imported and used to further
customise the DVD disc.
Navigation Command Settings
The PRV-LX10 allows the user to choose
basic play and title post navigation
commands. This feature allows the user
to specify exact DVD program execution
and provides greater assurance that the
final DVD will playback as intended.

The PRV-LX10 offers the ability to insert
chapter markers manually or
automatically during the recording
process. This feature allows the user to
tailor the DVD program to specific needs
and take advantage of the quick non-
linear access that DVD technology
provides.
