Pope Leo X ordered the excommunication of Luther but with the help of his friend Philip Melanchton, they gathered a number of followers and as years passed Protestanism(Lutherianism) became the official religion of many European country.

Melanchton was considered as the " Preceptor of Germany" because he was the most popular professor at Wittenburg.

Wurtemburg Plan modified the Saxony Plan that was provided for a comprehensive educational system.
