D working as Senior Assistant Professor was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Pharmaceutical Sciences by Jawaharlal Nehru Technologica l Univers i t y, Hyderabad (JNTUH), Telangana on 19th August, 2015 for research work entitled “Novel methods to improve permeation of drugs in transdermal drug delivery”. She carried out her research work under the guidance of Dr. P.K. Lakshmi, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics. She has 9 years of teaching and 7 years research experience. She has published 18 research articles in several national and international journals of repute. She has attended and presented research works at various international and national conferences. GPAT & NIPER RESULTS 45 students of B. Pharm appeared for GPAT, NIPER and TSPGECET-2016 in 2016. The number of students qualified are 12 in GPAT, 9 in NIPER JEE and 12 in TSPGECET. K. Rani Samyuktha secured 16th rank in GPAT and 4th rank in TSPGECET.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT Industrial visit to Hetero Drugs Pvt. Ltd., Formulation and Production Unit-V, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar Dist. was

thorganized on 28 December 2015 for B.Pharm final year students. Dr. K. Bhasker Reddy, Vice President welcomed the students. The students were shown the various formulation, R&D facilities and the processes were explained by the scientist Mr. Sridhar Reddy, Head Production. The total unit operations and functions were also explained by audio-video presentation.
