Spray dampening units

Spray dampening units are an important partof heat-set and web newspaper printing pres-ses and have a high impact on the quality ofthe printing result. technotrans proposes ananswer to every set of requirements with anentire range of spray dampening systems. The microspray.line , for example, is aproduct range incorporating outstandingbasic technology and integral detail solutions.

Central water cooling systems for sheet-fed offset

The production speed of printing presses hassteadily risen, and air-cooled devices aredischarging more and more waste heat intothe printing hall. This causes unstable air con-ditions that result in corresponding qualityproblems.Our alternative solution is water cooling.Water has four times the specific heat capa-city of air and is the ideal liquid for overco-ming the physical restrictions of air systems.

It can easily be transported in enclosed pipesystems in order to discharge waste heatfrom each connected peripheral unit out ofthe building, to a central cooling unit thatthen expels the heat into the outside air.

Systems that preserve resources

Washing agent is expensive. That is why tech-notrans supplies a system that reconditionsit. A clean solution, not just for the environ-ment: it also leads to a considerable reduc-tion in costs. There is no need to buy in repla-cement supplies for something that you cannow re-use.

ecoclean.line washing agent recyclingsystems comprise a filtering unit, a wastewater processing unit and the correspondingtank systems. Systems for the supply anddisposal of washing agent for sheet-fed andweb offset are also available.

dampclean.sd cleans the liquid returningfrom the spray dampening system by meansof ceramic membranes and feeds the cleandampening solution in a controlled way backinto the printing circuit.

The beta.f is a fine filtration unit whichfilters the dampening solution continuouslyin the bypass to the dampening solutionsystem, thus extending the dampeningsolution replacement intervals many timesover and minimising the cleaning tasks.

spinclean.d is an innovative dampeningsolution cleaning system specially designedfor web offset printing and based on aseparator; it therefore does not require anyexpensive consumables.

spinclean.ctp, the system that regeneratesdeveloper fluids in the pre-printing stage,likewise operates on the basis of separatortechnology. It offers considerable cost-cut-ting potential as it ensures efficient cleaningwithout the need for consumables. The costsof purchases, cleaning and disposal aresubstantially reduced.
