The bizhub PRO C6000L combines 60 ppm speed with purpose-built professional design that ordinary printer-copiers can’t equal. A duty cycle up to 280,000 pages per month makes in-house production feasible for reports and presentations, newsletters, human resource documents, training manuals, billing inserts and direct-mail flyers with variable data. And full-color booklets, catalogs, brochures and other short-run jobs can be more affordable for print-for-pay clients – and more profitable for your business.

With Konica Minolta’s optional IC-601 Image Controller, print/scan functions, finishing options and job handling commands can all be controlled from your desktop or at your bizhub. The optional HD-514 Hard Disk Drive provides on-board document storage for quick printing and reprinting – and with the optional PH-102 Preview Upgrade Kit, you’ll have thumbnail image display capabilities to preview jobs before you put them into production.

Printing and finishing with automated ease.

A big, bright 15” on-board color touch-panel display is so easy to use, even entry-level personnel can be printing like a pro in no time. You’ll even have a choice of two auto finishers: the FS-612 Booklet Finisher, for center-fold booklets up to 80 pages as well as tri-fold and half-fold functions, and the FS-531 Staple Finisher, for automatic corner stapling and 2-point stapling of up to 50 sheets, with 3,100-sheet output capacity. Both the FS-612 and FS-531 accept the PK-512 Punch Kit and PI-502 Post Inserter options.

The new Konica Minolta IC-601 Internal Image Controller is custom-designed by Konica Minolta, so it’s a perfect fit for your bizhub PRO C6000L. Its Job Centro user interface displays job lists and job history information, allowing fast and easy editing of individual pages as well as job tickets. And Color Centro gives you a powerful Windows-compliant utility to manage color settings – with essential tools to create calibration data, adjust tone curves, apply a library of spot colors, convert RGB/CMYK input values, manage ICC profiles and prepare profiles for specific paper types.

The bizhub PRO C6000L is not only a pro-grade printer/copier – it also provides flexible scanning to multiple destinations, bringing information into your workflow more quickly. The optional DF-622 Auto Document Feeder provides fast throughput for copying and scanning up to 100 sheets (200 pages). A wide array of password protection and encryption capabilities helps safeguard your data.

POWERFUL FINISHING OPTIONS: Center-fold booklets up to 80 pages, as well as tri-fold and half-fold functions, automatic corner stapling and 2-point stapling. Tab printing capability lets you accommodate binder inserts and oversized tab pages.

For superior color, Konica Minolta’s Simitri® HD polymerized toner remains unique. It uses plant-based biomass materials to reduce environmental impact – and its thinner core shell structure requires a lower fusing temperature than conventional toner particles, saving energy as it speeds the print process.

Optimized 1,200 dpi print resolution delivers sharper lines, smoother graphics, and greater legibility. For added realism, advanced dot screen technology minimizes moiré and edge distortion. Outlines are sharpened to make color characters look thinner against white backgrounds and thicken the appearance of white knockout characters against color. And 8-bit data compression minimizes RIP time to keep your color production in high gear.

The bizhub PRO C6000L also incorporates an advanced Screen-Enhancing Active Digital Processing (SEAD-II) system, with real-time color sensors that automatically maintain superior stability throughout your print run. During continuous printing, an Image Density Control (IDC) sensor reads patches of magenta, yellow, cyan and black to adjust maximum density levels and correct half-tone density automatically.

For long unattended print/copy runs, you can load up to 4,000 sheets in smooth-sliding paper drawers that accept sizes up to 13" x 19.2" for oversized color spreads and proofs. Tab printing capability lets you accommodate binder inserts and oversized tab pages. You can add paper and change toner on the fly.
