2. Affirmative (not contradicting)
3. Concrete (not abstract)

CHANGING OUR LANGUAGE
★ Set a goal (I will make my language more: specific / affirmative / concrete / positive / brief.)
Then:❏ create a visual reminder: post it somewhere you can see in your classroom❏ enlist the help of your co-teacher: create a structure for friendly feedback & reminders❏ record yourself: set your phone to record during a lesson or directions, and listen later on
