PSI Group is a full service provider of Engineering and Construction services for Commercial and Industrial customers. We regularly handle multi-discipline design and construction projects on a prime, turn-key basis. Our main focus is mid size and large, local and international mining and oil and gas firms operating in Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

For years we have worked hard gaining experience at Bechtel, Fluor, Worley Parsons, General Electric, ABB, Sedgman, Ausenco, Rio Tinto and Total and now we all have united at PSI to serve clients at our home – in Kazakhstan. Many of our former colleague friends have joined us and more will join to contributing their knowledge and expertise for the success of our clients.

COMPANY STRUCTURE

PSI Group is 100% Kazakhstan Company with head office in Almaty. The «PSI Engineering» is a parent company that holds 100% interest in subsidiary companies «PSI Stroy Industria» and «PSI Energy and Control». Additionally in 2015 PSI Engineering created 50% JV in Mongolia.

PSI Engineering complete engineering services provider for mid scale and large industrial projects. PSI Engineering holds 1st category engineering license.

PSI Energy and Control is providing complete solution services related to procurement, assembly, supply and comissioing of power distribution equipment, control panels and substations. Company also provides plant automation services, including development and implementation of SCADA.

PSI Stroy Industria is a general contractor company holding 1st category construction license. Works perfomed by PSI Stroyindustriya in general contractor capacity include: Construction of Aktogay 25 000 ton/year SX/EW plant (Kazminerals), Semizbay Uranium mine reconstruction and scale up project, construction projects for Katco (Areva), Inkay (Cameco) uranium mines, Energy infrostructure projects for Vicat Cement, 36km DN800, DN450 water supply project for Kazminerals, Sulfuric Acid Storage and reagent dosing facility for KazChrome New Ferroalloy Plant (ENRC), 1500 man permanent camp and camp infrostructure (Kazminerals), 1400 ha pivot irrigation project for Amiran diary farm.



PROJECT MANAGEMENT

PSI continuously improving project planning and management system. PSI is motivating project managers to complete PMI's training course compliant with Project Management Body of Knowledge standards. To manage programs and projects PSI is using Primavera P6 software by Oracle.

PSI Engineering uses latest engineering and modeling software that allows to deliver projects compliant with modern day requirements and meeting any client expectations. In 2012-2014 PSI implemented engineering system upgrade program with participation of Autodesk certified instructors. Implemented software packages include: AutoCAD® P&ID, AutoCAD® Plant 3D, AutoCAD® Structural Detailing, Autodesk® Revit® Structure, Autodesk® Navisworks® Simulate, Autodesk® Showcase®, Autodesk® SketchBook® Designer, P&ID, Plant 3D suite, Inventor, Civil 3D, Revit, Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit MEP,Autodesk Inventor Professional,Model Studio CS ЛЭП v.2, LIRA 9.6, ERA–Waste & ERA–Air.

Engenering software upgrade program and company accumulated expertise has allowed PSI to participate in some benchmark mining projects, such us: detailed design of Aktogay 25 000 ton Cu/year SX/EW Plant (Kazminerals), Zholimbet 2 mln ton CIP Gold Plant detailed design (KazGold), Eurasia Copper 3 000 ton Cu/year SX/EW Plant, Acid Storage Facility and Reagent dosing plant (KazChrome), Semizbay uranium mine reconstruction and scale up, Appak uranium mine reconstruction and scale up.

In 2014 PSI Acquired full colour architectural grade proffesional 3D Printer ProJet® 660Pro by 3D Systems. This has allowed us apart from Project Visualization and Animation services to provide our clients with printed scaled 3D Models of structures, equipment and industrial plant units.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The PSI Group has consistently developed and implemented a quality management system based on the principles of "process approach". Process approach considers the governance as a continuous series interrelated management functions: planning, organization, motivation, coordination, control and communication processes - communication and decision-making.

Our quality management system is certified to ST RK ISO 9001: 2009 standards by the “Kazakhstan Quality Center(KQC)”.



FULLY AUTOMATED, STATE OF THE ART STRUCTURAL STEEL PLANT

To deliver high quality services in timely and risk free manner PSI Group is currently constructing structural steel plant with production capacity 3000 ton/month of steel structures. Most adavnced metal fabrication equipment has been procured by PSI from industry leaders: Kaltenbach (Germany), Ficep (Italy), Nuova CMM (Italy).
