The Power of Choice program has beenproven to accelerate talent and enhance retention ofunderrepresented talent by equipping them to drivetheir own careers and create personal andprofessional success.
Overview
From our research, we know that the lack ofadvancement and representation of diverse talentcomes from many causes including social, personal,and organizational headwinds. This program istailored to underrepresented talent and their uniquepersonal and workplace experiences. It helpsparticipants Identify these obstacles to career andpersonal development and implement strategies tobuild personal contribution and growth.
The Power of Choice engages participants andchallenges them on a series of personal andprofessional choices through which they drive andown their development path.
Empower individuals to take personal responsibility for their personal and professionaldevelopment, to strengthen their workplace relationships, and ultimately acceleratetheir own career progression.
In this program,participants will:
Examine personal and socialnarratives that drive beliefsabout their own capabilities.Identify ways to drive theirown career path andovercome headwinds thatmay be getting in the way.Explore technical, relational,and influential confidence.Identify key network buildingapproaches.Create a plan to get thetypes of visible, important,and complex assignmentsthat will drive development,and the support to succeedat those assignments.Commit to practical,actionable steps that theycan take to achieve theirgoals.
