How does the trailer makes you aware of the film’s opening date?The films opening date is shown in the trailer on a black background the text “This Spring” is displayed.

How does the trailer makes you aware of who is in the film?The trailer does not show the main protagonist until towards the end, through dialogue and images the trailer gives us an insight of the main character as well as footage the protagonist has taken. This Trailer does make us aware of when the film is going to be released in text on a black backdrop towards the end of the trailer, the trailer displays “MARCH 17th”.

How does the trailer makes you aware of the film’s genre?The films genre is presented to us through a series of police reports and text on a black background informing us of what this “Documentary” is about. The genre seems to be a cross between Horror/Documentary.

How are we given an idea of the films story, the films that may be connected to this one and the films director?The name of the production company/department is shown however there is no connection to any other films or directors I think this has been done this way to convince the audience this is a documentary rather than a film.
