The Research• 8,000 Internet‐based interviews were conducted

with parents (10 minutes‟ duration) and 3,116

interviews with children (4 to 5 mins)

during October and November 2009.

• In each country:

– c300 parents of 0‐12 year olds interviewed

– c100 children aged 7‐12 interviewed

In addition we spoke to IKEA FAMILY members world‐wide

• Play is good for children
