Mercury
• It takes only 88 Earth-days for Mercury to make one orbit around the Sun.
• During the day, temperatures can reach over 800° F.
• At night, the temperature can drop at almost -300° F.
Venus
• On Venus temperatures can reach to 900° F.
• Venus is surrounded by thick clouds that reflect the light from the Sun.
• Both were formed about 4 ½ billion years ago.
EARTH
• The Earth is the only planet that can support life.
• Earth is the only planet with food that we can eat.
• Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun.
Mars
• Mars was named after the Roman god of war.
