After having a tiresome night, the wanderer leaves the hotel remembering that he has been advised to avoid visiting Planet Ahra.

The visitor has a sightseeing tour of the city, admiring its architecture, its green parks and the decent manner in manifestation of its people whom he meets on his way around.

The man(the narrator) meets in his wanderings a teenager girl who refuses to reveal her identity and as a result he calls her Riluri.

The young girl takes him for a walk round the city, showing him all its misteries.

They take lunch together and they watch a relaxing show.

Suddenly, the woman disappears.

The man returns to the hotel.

Due to the fact he hasn’t slept well a night before, he decides to take a nap.He wakes up after a while and decides to go out being attracted by the city’s unexplainable noises.

The infernal noise is doubled by a dazzling light.

The people are strangely dressed and they behave as if they completely lost their minds.

The city seems beyond recognition as if it had been invaded by aliens because the people who are in the streets are totally different from those whom he has met in the morning.

The young wanderer is surprised by Riluri’s appearance who is beyond recognition as well.

The girl embraces an unknown young man and they both disappear into the night.

The wanderer returns to the hotel.

Extremely tired of the city’s awkwardness, the stranger goes to bed and finally manages to fall asleep.

The next day the city seems as peaceful as it has been a morning before.

Returning to the ship which has taken him to Ahra the wanderer reads the leaflet he has been given to at the hotel.

Surprisingly shocked he finds out that the inhabitants on Ahra have two brains- one receptive to light and the other one receptive to darkness, they never sleep and they practically have two lives.
