    4. The proponents of global free trade say that it promotes global economic growth, creates jobs, makes companies more competitive, and lowers price for consumers. Italso provides poor countries, with the chance to develop economically and byspreading prosperity creates the conditions in which democracy and respect for

    human rights may flourish.

    5. Religious movements were among the earliest cultural elements to globalize, beingspread by force, migration, evangelists, imperialists, and traders. For example : Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and more.

    6. Now there is a worldwide market for companies and consumers to access productsfrom different countries.

For example : Indonesian people can try Durian imported from Thailand andMalaysia. Oranges from China, Date Palm (kurma) from the United Arab Emirates.

    7. Globalization has made tourism a popular global leisure activity. The World HealthOrganization (WHO) estimates that up to 500.000 people are in flight at any one time.

    8. Globalization has continually increased international competition in sports. Moderninternational sports events can be big business for as well as influencing the political,

economical, and other cultural aspects of countries around the world. Sports can affectcountries, their identities, and in consequence, the world. The FIFA World Cup, for example, is the worlds most widely viewed sporting event;an estimated 700 million people watched the final match of the 2010 FIFA World Cupheld in South Africa.

    THE VIOLENT SIDES OF GLOBALIZATION

    1. The general complaint about globalization is that it has made the rich richer whilemaking non-rich poorer. It is wonderful for CEO and investors, but hell on workersand nature.

    2. Multinational corporations are accused of social injustice, unfair working conditions (including slave labor wages, poor living, and working conditions) As well as a lack ofconcern for the environment, mismanagement of natural resources, and ecologicaldamage. For example : Labor conditions in Bangladesh which are forced to work fasterwithout any proper salaries and place to live.

    3. Globalization has led to exploitation of labor. Prisoners and child workers are used towork in inhumane conditions. Safety standards are ignored to produce cheap goods. There are also an increase in human trafficking.

    4. Globalization make it easier for rich companies to act with less accountability. Theyalso claim that countries individual cultures are becoming overpowered byAmericanization.

For example : The American cultures which are drinking alcohol, drugs abuse, andsmoking under age that already become well known in Indonesia.

    5. The globalization is also leading incursion of communicable diseases. Deadlydiseases like HIV / AIDS are being spread by travelers to the remotest corners of theglobe. The recent diseases now is the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Ebola is the worldsdeadliest to date and the World Health Organization has declared an internationalhealth emergency as more than 4,032 people have died of the virus in Guinea, Liberia,Sierra Leone, and Nigeria this year.

    6. Black markets and organized crime often operate on a transnational basis, with globalsales totaling almost US$2 trillion annually of 2013.The UN estimated that as of 2000 there were more than 50 million regular users ofcocaine, heroin, an synthetic drugs worldwide.

    7. The international trade of endangered species in the black market. The use of parts ofendangered species ( such as seahorses, rhinoceros horns, saiga antelope horns, andtiger bones or claws ) resulted in a black market of poachers who hunt restrictedanimals.

    8. Human challenges to the natural environment, such as climate change, cross boundarywater, and air pollution, over-fishing of the ocean, and the spread of invasive speciesrequire at least transnational and often, global sollutions. Since factories in developingcountries increased global output and experiencess less environmental regulation, globally there have been substantial increases in pollution and its impact on waterresources.

    CONCLUSION

In conclusion, globalization can harm and benefit the world many. People should analyzethese impacts carefully so as to prevent the negative impacts. It is essential to note that theforce behind globalization cannot be stopped and everyone should be ready to face it.
