Thanksgiving Day Mass
Mark your calendars now and bring the
family to join us Thanksgiving Day for
9:00am Mass. What better way to begin a
day of giving thanks than coming to Mass
to thank God for all the blessings we have
in our lives. Please note there will be NO
daily Mass on Friday November 29.
From Fr. Mike’s Desk
So winter has arrived. Our "Winter Mass Policy" has been in
the bulletin for a couple of weeks now and will continue to be in
the bulletin through the winter season. Please exercise caution
when the weather is tricky and you have plans to come to
Mass. God understands if the weather is not cooperating. We
will do our best to post on our parish website, Facebook Page,
Channel 2 (WGRZ), Channel 4 (WIVB) and on the radio at
WCJW, in a timely fashion. I will always celebrate Mass for the
Mass intention that day but it might not be at the exact Mass
time.
This time of year we can also find ourselves being more sus-
ceptible to illnesses. Please use common sense if you decide to
come to Mass and you are not feeling well. A simple head nod
at the sign of peace and not receiving the Precious Blood can go
a long way in helping prevent spreading anything.
Always feel welcomed to come to Mass early to take some
time for yourself in prayer. Generally speaking the church is
open at least one hour before Mass on the weekend, and by
7:30am on weekdays. When coming to church before Mass,
please respect those who are in prayer and keep a sacred si-
lence. If you are in conversation please keep things at a respect-
ful whisper.
Finally, with our new St. Hubert statue, you will notice a few
more references towards him here and there, including in the
Eucharistic Prayer. The saints remind us that we are called to
holiness by living faithfully a life of discipleship even with hu-
man faults which cause us to sin.
In Good Faith,
Fr. Mike
As we enter into the time of year where the weather can be
unpredictable please note the following. When Warsaw
Central School is Closed or Evening Activities are can-
celled because of “Winter Weather,” there is NO DAILY
MASS & NO Evening Activities. On the weekend please
watch WGRZ Buffalo, or WIVB Buffalo News, or listen to
WCJW for Closings and Cancellations. There will also be
notices put out on our Parish Website as well as our
Facebook Page. As always exercise caution with the
weather, God understands if the weather prevents you
from safely attending Mass.

Thank Our Sponsors
Special THANK YOU to Tom Leitten Jr. for
taking the time last weekend to clean the gutters
of the church and rectory. Tom is a sponsor for
our bulletin and we appreciate his efforts in
helping maintain our parish grounds.
Praying to the Saints
Remember we pray to the saints for their inter-
cession as we try to follow their examples. Our
new St. Hubert statue allows us to adopt this
saint, Patron of Hunters, and hopefully
draws us to a new spirituality in our relation-
ship with God. You will also notice on display
by the Blessed Mother, above the piano are the
old statues of St. Francis Xavier and St. Therese
of Lisieux. There is a relic of St. Francis Xavier
next to the statues as relics help draw us into
reverent prayer.
Food Pantry Chest
Through Thanksgiving Day our Food Pantry
Chest will be located in front of the altar as a
reminder of our call to help support the call to
the feed the hungry. Please bring in any non-
perishable food donations with
you to Mass and place in the
chest before Mass. On Thanks-
giving Day, please bring a can
of soup or box of macaroni &
cheese to fill the chest Thanks-
giving Day.
Parish Hall Renovation
You may have heard discussions regarding a future Parish Hall
Renovation. There is a small dedicated committee exploring the
possibility and helping lay the groundwork for a plan to be put
into action. When the time is appropriate we will have an open
forum for input from our parish community.
Advent is COMING! Advent/
Christmas Calendar insert will
be in next week's
bulletin!

Women’s Fellowship Meeting Our Women’s Fellowship Group will
meet on Monday night, November 18th at 6:30 in the conference
room in the hall. We would love to have you join in the group that pro-
motes growing closer to Christ and to other women in our parish. It is a
group that was formed for women to continue in their faith journey and
help to enrich their spirituality. It is for the rich! The poor! And every-
one in between! It is for those who take life very seriously! And those
who don’t! It is for those just beginning to put down roots and those
who have deep-seeded ones. Can it be for you? Come and see!
Bible & the Sacraments Series
Join us in the church Monday, November 18 from
6:30pm to 7:30pm as we “walk through” the Sac-
rament of Baptism and talk about the scripture
references to this sacrament as well as the sacra-
mentals used through the sacrament.
