The Original Super-Sling Family are the World’s best selling slings,earning The Outdoor Connection, Inc. the distinction of The SlingCompany. Presently, The Outdoor Connection manufactures avariety of hunting and shooting sport accessories.

The creation of The Original Super-Sling began in 1983, in Waco, Texaswhen Floyd Hightower developed the 1” wide sling that is adjustablewith one-hand. The purpose of the sling was to help hunters improvetheir marksmanship while providing a safe and comfortablecarry strap.

On weekends, Floyd would assemble the slings in his garage and onthe weekdays, he would drive from dealer to dealer selling the slings. This marked the beginning of The Original Super-Sling Family with Rapid One-Hand Adjustment, and The Outdoor Connection, Inc .

The market has seen many attempted imitations; however, with over 25 years of investment in the Rapid One-Hand Adjustment technology, The Original Super-Sling is not easily copied. An inferiorsubstitute that simply replaces the words “rapid adjustment” on the packaging cannot replace the investment of time, quality materialsand superior craftsmanship that have gone into The Original Super-Sling Family.
