Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships: Applications at UHN

UHN’s Department of Grants and Contract Services has created an application guide to help those applying for a prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship (Banting PDF). The document includes key information for the Institutional Synergy and Letter of Endorsement sections of the application. Email the ORT for an application guide. Key Points about the application: PDFs whose Supervisors have a primary appointment at UHN must list UHN as their Host Institution. Applications are submitted through ResearchNet and approved by the endorsing Supervisor or Department

Head. The Banting PDF application deadline is September 23, 2015. Please check with your Supervisor or Department

Head to see if an earlier internal deadline exists. The Banting PDF is one of Canada’s most prestigious awards for postdoctoral researchers working in the health sciences, natural sciences and engineering, and social sciences and humanities. Since the Government of Canada launched the program in 2010, five of UHN’s highly qualified postdoctoral fellows have been awarded Banting PDF. For program details, click here to visit the website.
