Books for Babies & Donations

NEW BABY BOOKS:

The North Riverside Friends of the Library continue to celebrate the births of babies born to North Riverside residents by donating a board book to the library’s collection. Each book contains a book plate marking the special event. The baby’s family will receive a letter informing them of the donation. Those interested are asked to send birth information to the Library Director. We welcome our future young readers.

Memorial Book Donations:

The Library would like to thank Ron and Dolores Gryzlak for making a donation in memory of Sue Jansky.

The North Riverside Public Library accepts tax-deductible donations for the purchase of books and other library materials. Contributions such as these are lasting tributes the community can recognize and enjoy. The library staff is willing to select from subjects or titles provided. Once the item has been selected, an acknowledgement will be mailed and the donation noted with a special bookplate. Additional information regarding memorial or commemorative donations is available by calling the Library Director.

El otoño esta por llegar,

los pájaros se marchan,

buscando calor, las hojas

se caen y cambian de

color.

Autumn is coming, the birds are looking for warmer

weather, leaves are changing color and falling down, days

are shorter, the sun is hardly warm, that is why I grab a

book and keep myself busy reading.

Our bilingual summer reading program was super full

with the kids from summer camp. If you know kids age 2

and older, please invite them to our program on

Wednesdays at 10:30 am. We sing, we read and we play

games.

Please stay tuned for the new changes that are coming

here in the library, thinking of you and your family. You

will love it, new smells and new arrangements.

Nos Vemos pronto!

See you soon!
