1. WHERE IS THE THE PRODUCER THE STREETS CALLSAP FROM?

SAP-originally im from chester p.a. i moved from there when i wasvery young about 5. but i moved to delaware and I've been living hereever since , Im 19 now

Signature E Smith Magazine has been watching your career for a while lets start from your first music placement?SAP-well i kind of got my underground break when i produced "inmy bag" for meek mill. but i kimd of got into the underground phillyscene through "joey jihad" which i did joints for himon his "big dog yard" mixtape like (freakazoid , rockin wit da gettas ,fire at will , bossman and mattic man)BOSSMAN AND MATTIC MAN )

SAP my moms laptop LOL . i use fl studio so basically a computer.

Who are you music idols or who inspired you to be aproducer?SAP-i would say timberland and pharell. im a CRAZY kanye westfan. he inspired me to be a producer Hiphop Trivia ? What music producer put together the classic 36 chambers album?SAP- RZA

How do you feel when other producers mention you as the next to blow?SAP-its a honor. i think people kind of respect my style and sound ,and a lot of other producers started to follow it due to thequick success it brought a no body producer form delaware to the light, i kind of get alotof credit form dudes like Cosmic Kev and Q Deezy who aregreat mentors andthey kind of told me how i raised the bar as far as philly music andstarted a trend to help underground dvd artist do radio songs

Was the philly, del. dc, area your main focus on submitting beats?

SAP-Philly was kind of but i didnt plan on flooding the scene like this.i did "bossman" for joey jihad which featured meek mill on therecord

and meek was intrested in the production and he got at me , i got achance to do in my bag and everyone wanted a track form me. i endedup producingtwo bangers for cyssero "swagg it out" and "in dee air.You have produced for many upcoming artist in the city from, Meek Mill, Young Hot, Kreto now freeway how did you make the connects to get music to them?SAP-meek of course though jihad. but freeway was suppose to rap offthe "in my bag" beat. my man from allhiphop told me to send the beat to him (giving me his email) being the guy i am i senta couple of my other beats to him also LOL

he hit me back with his number. we took it from there. but ive neverdid any exclusive work with hot or kre but hopefully in the future

Who out of everyone you have produced for who do you love to work with the most?AP-ive produced for freeway, beanie sigel, meek mill, joey jihad, gillieda kid , shizz nitty , swanny riverz , philly swain and many more i cantthink of right now lolbut i love working with cyssero , freeway and shizz nitty the most ,these guys trust my sound and let me do me , and also they work to mypaste

What are your future plans?sap-definitely become an artist as well. i have a song called ''tenfreaky girls" its me , shizz nitty (who is an delaware artist on the rise)and freeway. its crazy

Tell the readers a little about the radio show and when did the show start?Brasco-THE SHOW IS TRILLADELPHIA RADIO-EVERY WEDNESDAY 11PM-1AMHOSTED BY MYSELF I-KNOW-BRASCO AND ROB DILLINGER WE HAVE BEEN GOINGSTRONG EVERY WEEK SINCE FEB. WE R A VERY LAID BACK SHOW-OUR SUBJECTMATTER IS SCATTERED BUT ITS BASED AROUND RAP MUSIC, EVERYDAY LIFE,COMMUNITY OUTREACH, SEX, JUST REGULAR THINGS IN LIFE

Give the readers a brief history of brasco the artist, the radio dj and your future plans?

Brasco-BRASCO THE ARTIST. I'VE BEEN RHYMING SINCE 99. STARTED TAKING ITSERIOUS IN 2003 WHILE UP AT WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY. BEEN DROPPINMIXTAPES IN THE STREETS AND ONLINE, DOING BATTLES, GAINING A FANBASE. ASA RADIO DJ

THIS IS SOMETHING I STUDIED IN COLLEGE and have always enjoyed doing it. there is justsomething about talkin to the people and having them talk back. not rapping at them. but more likeconversing with them

How many listener's tune into your show each week?Brasco- I cant tell u. we started at like 25. the first couple weeks we was at like 20-25 but peoplestarted spreading the word and we started to get good guest (Tahiry, Reed Dollaz, Nu Jerzey Devil,Tone Trump, Murda Mook) and now our phone lines get jammed and the website #'s be popping

Whats the age of the average listener who tunes in each week and whats next for the show maybe getting into taking the show to national radio?Brasco-the average age is about 17-30 but i know a couple of 50 y/os that tune in faithfully and wedo get a lil reckless with the language from time to time so we start around 17. since we are on the

internet we r technically worldwide. but as far as being picked up by a terrestrial station. that wouldb a dream come tru. i always said that if i couldnt b a successful rapper i want to do radio and nowim doing both.We know that your an artist at heart we hear your putting out an street album real soon?Brasco-YES INDEED-i have a project coming out nov 27th (my bday) called THE SILVERLINING which is a record based around the concept of struggle and finding ya joy in the midst of itall. Also there is a project with Stocks Skolla called BEAUTIFUL STREET MUZIK dropping inoctoberwhich is just good rap music. lyrics are tight. flows, concepts, beats. everything is just street yetpolished

The music scene in philadelphia is crowded when it comes to music how do you guys pickand choose from the many airplay submissions?
