daydreaming about being somewhere else.

YUSEF snaps out of it.

MR. DIAGO

YUSEF hesitates, then answers.

YUSEF KINGThe evolution of the computer and

MR. DIAGO

Ok. Good job.

The school bell rings.

MR. DIAGO

Class? Midterms tomorrow. Goodluck.

YUSEF walks out of the classroom followed by his best

friend DARLENE SCHOFIELD, 17 brunette and TIM BRIGGS, 15, a

skinny kids with a cocky attitude YUSEF looks at them with

a smirk on his face. They both give YUSEF a curious look.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Yusef cut it out!

YUSEF KING

Cut what out?

TIM BRIGGS

You have that I know something

you don't look written across your

face. What's on your mind anyway?

YUSEF KING

School is so boring I cant wait

to get out of here. I want to

travel, go see new and interestingplaces, life seems so boring right

now, you know?

DARLENE looks YUSEF over and rolls her eyes.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

What things Yusef? What the hell

are you babbling about?

TIM BRIGGSNothing, Yusef is just talking

shit just like he always does.

EXT. SCHOOL PARKING LOT - FIVE MINUTES LATER

They leave the building and walk to their cars.

YUSEF KING

Listen haven't you ever wanted to

experience something new,

something out of the norm that

gets your blood pumping and lets

you know that you are alive.

DARLENE giggles, YUSEF looks annoyed.

TIM BRIGGS

TIM looks at DARLENE, a smirk breaks out across his face.

YUSEF gets into his car, an impatient look upon his brow.

YUSEF KING

Whatever man. Look I'll call you

guys later, ok?

DARLENE unlocks her car door.

DARLENE SCHOFIELDYeah later Yusef, call me tonight

ok?

TIM rolls down his car window.

TIM BRIGGS

We'll talk tonight, later.

YUSEF drives off, he slows down at a stop sign, his cell

phone rings.

YUSEF grabs his backpack.

YUSEF KING

Now where did I put that got damn

phone?

YUSEF begins to toss items out of the backpack until he

finds the cell phone, he grabs it, looks at the caller id.

YUSEF KING

Mom?

YUSEF answers the phone.

YUSEF KING

Hello? Mom what's up? You need

me to come by the house right now,

I'm on my way.

YUSEF makes a u-turn, drives about 10 miles to his parents

house in Little Weed.

EXT. THE KING'S DRIVEWAY - TEN MINUTES LATER

YUSEF pulls into the driveway, sees a Lincoln Town Car, a

Ford Explorer and a strange blue car parked there.

YUSEF KING

Whose car is that?

YUSEF parks his car, walks up to the front door and rings

the doorbell, his father answers it.

JEAN KING

Come on in son?

YUSEF walks inside, looks around for a minute with a

serious look on his face.

YUSEF KINGWhat's wrong? When you called it

seemed urgent, is everything ok?

JEAN KING, an attractive lady in her late 40s stands up,

JEAN KING

Come on in son, come over here and

sit down at the table with us we

have some important news to share

with you.

YUSEF sits next to his father, who grips his shouldergiving him a look of reassurance, he glances over at his

wife.

JOHN KING

You see son, your Uncle Grover

passed away yesterday and believe

it or not you were considered his

favorite nephew. Uncle Grover

left a will

(CONTINUING)

in it he stipulated that upon his

death some property that he has

owned for the past 70 years would

be passed on to you. Now we

haven't seen the place and didn't

even know that he owned it, it

seems that you are now the new

owner of that property, son.

CHARLIE

Uh, hum.

A chubby man in his mid 60s clears his throat. YUSEF'S

father stops talking.

JOHN KING

Sorry Chuck. This is Charlie your

Uncle Grover's attorney.

CHARLIE

Thank you.

CHARLIE opens a folder, removes a sheet of paper.

CHARLIE

As your father said, your uncle

instructed me to leave you this

deed to his property in Stanton.

(CONTINUING)

Now I must warn you the place

hasn't been kept up too well so

you will have your work cut out

for you. I think you should check

the place out for yourself that

way you can see what's what?

YUSEF nods his head, CHARLIE reaches into his briefcase,

hands YUSEF a set of keys and a piece of paper containing

directions to the house. YUSEF takes them both, he glances

at the directions and places the keys in his pocket.

CHARLIE removes another document from his briefcase and

gives it to YUSEF.

CHARLIE

Before you go, Ill need your

signature right here.

YUSEF signs the form and leaves to go see his newly

acquired property.

EXT. YUSEF'S NEW HOUSE, DRIVEWAY - CONTINOUS

YUSEF pulls into the driveway, walks up to the front door,

unlocks it and walks inside.

INT. YUSEF'S NEW HOUSE, LIVING ROOM

YUSEF sees a massive living room with no furniture, the

area is spacious as he walks his footsteps echo throughout

the room. YUSEF sees three closed doors facing North, East

and West.

YUSEF KING

This place is so much bigger on

the inside, how is that possible?

LIVING ROOM

YUSEF walks toward the western end of the room, opens the

door, it slowly creaks open, YUSEF looks inside. A large

paned window sitting at the southern end of the room

provides a view of the front yard and surrounding

neighborhood.

BEDROOM

YUSEF turns around, sees another door at the far end of the

room, he approaches and opens it. Along the eastern wall,

there is a bed and a dresser, on the western wall, a

window.

EXT. BACKYARD

YUSEF looks out, sees the backyard and an empty swimming

pool surrounded by dense vegetation. The entire scene

provides a tranquil, yet sinister view.

YUSEF KING

Man do I have my work cut out for

me, cleaning up this place is

going to take some time and I am

going to need a lot of help.

YUSEF exits the room, closes the door behind him and enters

the eastern room.

BEDROOM

Along the wall, YUSEF sees a brown door, he opens it

revealing a lengthy yet dark closet. The walls have no

sheet metal just a frame with pieces of insulation, hecloses the door, walks into the living room.

EXT. FRONT OF THE HOUSE, DRIVEWAY

YUSEF walks outside, approaches his car, opens the

passenger side takes his cell phone sitting on the seat.

STRANGER

Hey you there, why are you

trespassing on private property?

YUSEF turns around, sees an old grey-haired man dressed inblue khakis, a grey t-shirt and Black Fedora standing in

his driveway. He gives the man a quizzical look.

YUSEF KING

Where did you come from?

STRANGER

Never mind that.

STRANGER

Why are you here?

YUSEF KING

This is my house now and you are

trespassing.

The old stranger chuckles, his expression changes from

amused to irritable, he limps closer to YUSEF.

STRANGER

This house belongs to no one but

the devil himself, you would be

wise to leave this place and never

come back.

YUSEF KING

What are you talking about?

YUSEF turns to look at the house, then turns to look back

at the old man who is no longer there.

YUSEF KING

Sir?

YUSEF looks around

YUSEF KING

Ok then.

YUSEF shrugs it off, two cars pull up to the curb and park.

DARLENE and TIM get out of the car, look at the house.

YUSEF KING

You made it I hope that my

directions weren't too bad.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Yeah, well your directions leave

a lot to be desired but anyway

were here.

TIM BRIGGS

Yeah, your directions suck man.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Why did you have us come way out

here anyway?

YUSEF KING

Ta Da, this is my new place.

TIM looks less than amused.

Stop playing man, this place is a

dump.

YUSEF KING

Come on man don't go putting it

down, my Uncle Grover left this

place to me, sure it needs work

but I think it's got possibilities.

TIM BRIGGS

Then let's break this sucker in

what I'm thinking?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

TIM BRIGGS

Are you serious man, let's have a

YUSEF KING

TIM BRIGGS

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

INT. LIVING ROOM

YUSEF invites them inside, TIM has a surprised look on his

face.

TIM BRIGGS

I cant believe my eyes its like

a different house.

TIM turns around to look at YUSEF who has disappeared. TIM

looks at DARLENE.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Where did he go?

INT. HAUNTEED HOTEL, HOTEL LOBBY - ETHEREAL

YUSEF looks around, notices that he is standing in a

massive hotel lobby. Men dressed in tuxedos, ladies in

expensive circa 1940s dresses move to and fro in the

distance. YUSEF sees a pasty-faced man dressed in a bell

hop uniform standing near a closed elevator.

YUSEF approaches, the door opens, the bell hop walks

inside.

GHOSTLY ELEVATOR ATTENDANTGoing to the 100th floor, sir?

ELEVATOR

YUSEF enters the elevator car, glances at the

Bellhop whose face seems to morph in and out of existence,

his eyes resemble dark empty sockets that seem to look

right through him.

The elevator ascends to the 100th floor, a bell rings as

the door opens, YUSEF exits.

DARK HALLWAY

YUSEF looks around

YUSEF KING

Hello?

YUSEF'S voice sounds garbled like he is underwater.

YUSEF KING

Where am I? How do I get out of

here?

YUSEF stands in a long hallway, lined with doors, the place

looks long abandoned, YUSEF is all alone, he turns to get

back on the elevator, but runs into a wall. Out of the

corner of his eye YUSEF sees a shadow floating down the

hallway, it turns a corner. YUSEF turns to see what it is,

but it's gone. Scared and disoriented YUSEF walks down the

narrow hallway the lights begin to flicker, then all goes

dark. YUSEF can hear his heart beating.

YUSEF KING

Help

YUSEF'S cries echo down the long corridor, then from the

darkness, comes an eerie moaning sound its coming from

behind him. A SHADOW WRAITH appears, panicked, YUSEF runs

down a dimly-lit side corridor.

SIDE CORRIDOR

On either side he comes across two closed red doors and

tries to open the one to his left. YUSEF rams into it with

his shoulder, but its stuck. In the distance he can hear a

low moaning sound, it gets closer. YUSEF runs a little

ways forward, sees a second door to his right.

YUSEF rams the door with his right shoulder, it gives way,

YUSEF enters the room closing and locking the door behind

him. He pauses for a moment, leans on the door, catches

his breath. A SHADOW WRAITH approaches hesitates, stops at

the door.

YUSEF presses his ear against the door, the SHADOW WRAITH

moves away, the moaning sound moves away into the distance.

YUSEF backs away while breathing a sigh of relief.

Suddenly the door burst open with the SHADOW WRAITH hovers

in the doorway, then flies toward YUSEF, it reaches out to

grab him, YUSEF closes his eyes, when he opens them he is

standing in the hotel lobby.

HOTEL LOBBY

YUSEF sees the bellhop standing next to the elevator and

runs toward him.

BELLHOP GHOST

The 100th floor sir?

YUSEF KING

No! The 1st floor.

The BELLHOP grins.

BELLHOP GHOST

Very well, sir.

ELEVATOR

YUSEF walks inside, the elevator descends, the elevator

door opens, YUSEF exits, it closes behind him. YUSEF sees

DARLENE and TIM calling out, searching for him. YUSEF waves

his hands and calls out to them, but they can neither see

nor hear him.

YUSEF stands in a room of darkness, he feels an intense

coldness overwhelm his senses, then finds himself standing

back in his living room.

LIVING ROOM

DARLENE and TIM look at each other in amazement.

TIM BRIGGS

Yusef? Where did you come from?

DARLENE SCHOFIELDYeah, one minute you were standing

right behind us the next you

weren't.

YUSEF, shrugs his shoulders.

YUSEF KING

You wouldn't believe me if I told

you, anyway... How long was I gone?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Two minutes.

TIM BRIGSS

How does a person just disappear

one minute and reappear the next?

YUSEF KING

My intuition is telling me to get

away from this house, but

something else is drawing me in,

what about you?

DARLENE waits before giving her answer.

TIM BRIGGS

To be honest with you Im not sure

if this is the best place for us

to be right now, there is

something sinister going on here,

who knows what your uncle was into

before he died.

DARLENE SCHOFIELDI hear you, but Yusef did say he

was looking for adventure, it

looks like he might have found it.

EXT. DRIVEWAY

DARLENE, TIM, AND YUSEF walk outside, get into Yusefs car

and drive to the store.

EXT. STORE, STORE PARKING LOT - LATE AFTERNOON

Minutes later YUSEF walks back to the car carrying two bags

filled with food and alcohol. He places the bags in the

back seat next to Tim then gets into the car.

TIM BRIGGS

Hey how did you get alcohol?

YUSEF KING

I paid that man over there 10

bucks to get it for me.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Very slick.

YUSEF KING

Yes indeed.

Are you alright Yusef? I mean you

seem a little distant.

YUSEF KING

I'm ok, just a little preoccupied

with the house, you know what I

mean?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

No we don't man, talk to us, and

tell us what's on your mind, after

all we are your friends, right?

YUSEF looks at DARLENE, then back at TIM.

YUSEF KING

Right.

YUSEF looks ahead with a detached look on his face, he

begins to tell the story.

YUSEF KING

One minute I was talking to you

guys, I hear someone call my

name, and all of a sudden I feelcold and wet. I reach out to tell

you guys something and that's when

I find myself in another place,

another dimension, the rest I

can't explain, I think Uncle

Grover was deeply involved in the

supernatural.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Then do you think we should really

be partying in that house? I meanif this happened to you, it could

happen to anyone of us or anyone

else who sets foot in that place,

don't you think?

Maybe we should tell your parents

about this?

YUSEF KING

No, not until I find out more,

anyways my parents are skeptical

about stuff like this. It will

give them an excuse to take over

the property.

DARLENE and TIM hesitate.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Ok. I'll back you on this, because

it means so much to you, but I'mstill concerned.

EXT. YUSEF'S DRIVEWAY - THIRTY MINUTES LATER

They pull into the driveway and see seven cars parkedin

front of the house.

TIM BRIGGS

It's my brother Wayne and his

people!

TIM jumps out of the car.

WAYNE BRIGGS

Hey fool, what's up?

WAYNE BRIGGS, 21 TIM'S OLDER BROTHER gets out of his car.

WAYNE BRIGGS

What's up little bro? Well...

Well....Well what do we have here?

WAYNE walks past TIM and looks at the house.

WAYNE BRIGGS

Whose house is this?

WAYNE BRIGGS

You're serious? This is your

house?

YUSEF nods.

WAYNE BRIGGS

Take us on the grand tour.

DARLENE, TIM and YUSEF look annoyed.

YUSEF KING

Cool come on in.

YUSEF, DARLENE and TIM walk inside followed by WAYNE and

his entourage.

INT. LIVING ROOM

WAYNE BRIGGS

This is some pad man, you cant

tell from looking outside but it

really is.

DARLENE walks into the adjacent room.

YUSEF KING

Hey what is Capo doing over there?

Tim could you take the dog outside

before he shits all over the

house?

TIM BRIGGS

Ok.

TIM summons the dog who follows him out into the front yard.

EXT. FRONT YARD

The dog squats and relieves itself.

INT. YUSEF'S HOUSE, BEDROOM - LATE AFTERNOON

YUSEF slides the closet door open, looks inside. DARLENE

and TIM peer over his shoulder.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

I wonder why your uncle didn't

finish this closet?

YUSEF KING

Beats me.

TIM walks into the room with the dog trailing close behind.

TIM BRIGGS

You know Yusef, I still can't get

over how your parents just let you

take over this house without their

help.

YUSEF KINGIt's because right now I am

checking out the place, they

wanted me to do that, later on in

the week they will come by and

help me with whatever needs to be

done.

DARLENE and TIM walk back into the living room. He sees a

dark brown door.

TIM BRIGGS

Hey Darlene, I wonder whats

behind that door?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

TIM walks up to the door, opens it and sees a set of stairs

leading up.

TIM BRIGGS

Cool, hey Yusef!

From the next room.

YUSEF KING (O.S.)

What!

TIM BRIGGS

Have you been upstairs yet?

TIM and DARLENE look up the darkened staircase.

BEDROOM

YUSEF KING

No, I've only explored the firstfloor so far.

The dog, growls at something in the closet. YUSEF peers

inside and sees CAPO tugging at the insulation in the

closet wall.

YUSEF KING

CAPO? What are you doing boy?

Youre messing up the insulation

that stuff cost money.

YUSEF looks closer sees something shiny sticking out of the

insulation, YUSEF grabs it, pulls it out.

YUSEF KING

Its a long metallic stick.

YUSEF looks at the object, it feels warm to the touch,

etched into its side are the words "Eradicator.

On the adjacent end of the stick sits a coupling five

inches round in diameter that appears to house a sharp

knife-like object.

YUSEF KING

Guys get in here, I think you will

want to see this?

DARLENE and TIM run into the room, they see YUSEF holding

the metallic stick.

TIM BRIGGS

Whoa, check that out.

Sticking out of the insulation is a piece of paper, YUSEFremoves it and opens it, written down on the paper are

three symbols: X, (), V.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

What does that mean?

TIM and DARLENE stand silent, staring at the object. TIM

looks at the symbols on the black dial.

TIM BRIGGS

Hey, they match the symbols on

this paper, this is some weirdshit.

WAYNE walks into the room.

WAYNE BRIGGS

Hey you know its rude to leave

your houseguests unattended,

whats going on in here anyway?

YUSEF wraps the paper around the steel rod, the rear

section containing the symbols lights up and absorbs the

paper. The symbols etched into the weapon begin to glow.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Yusef what's happening?

YUSEF KING

The paper or whatever it was must

have activated the device somehow.

I dont know what to do!

YUSEF touches the V symbol on the steel rod, it lights up,

the tip of the steel rod morphs into a steel muzzle. Yusef

points it at the creature, a powerful transparent beam

launches from the weapon striking the creature in its chest

vaporizing it.

YUSEF leaps back and fires four more rounds from the steel

rod dispatching the other four creatures. YUSEF slides

down along the wall staring at the doorway, The muzzle

still smoking.

YUSEF KING

Tim, Darlene, it's safe.

TIM BRIGGS

Are you sure?

YUSEF KING

Yes.

TIM opens the door.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Yusef what the hell were those

things?

YUSEF KING

I wish I knew, but I don't, hell

I can't even tell you what this

thing is that Im holding but I do

know that it saved our lives.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

This whole mess started when you

touched that symbol Yusef. How

about not touching anymoresymbols, ok?

YUSEF KING

All I know is that there is no

turning back now. I need you both

to stand with me?

DARLENE looks at TIM.

TIM BRIGGS

There is a knock at the door.

TIM BRIGGS

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

DARLENE opens the door, sees a middle-aged man dressed in a

trench coat and fedora standing there. He tips his hat.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

Hello ma'am, I'm Detective

Bronson, sorry to bother you but

we need to know if you heard orsaw anything that could help us

with our investigation? Witnesses

reported seeing a strange light

coming from inside of your house

right before that happened.

DETECTIVE BRONSON turns around and points to three massive

holes in the concrete just outside of the house. DARLENE

nervously looks around, we did hear a bang, but we don't

know what could have caused it.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

We?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Uh.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

around?

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Uh yeah, sure.

DARLENE signals for YUSEF to hide the weapon. DETECTIVE

BRONSON tips his hat.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

Thank you.

INT. LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

DETECTIVE BRONSON motions for the other three officers to

follow him inside. DETECTIVE BRONSON removes his hat, theyenter the house. He looks around. DARLENE closes the door

behind them. They follow her into the adjacent room.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

I am Detective Bronson, who might

you all be?

TIM and YUSEF introduce themselves.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

I see and who does this house

belong to?

YUSEF points to himself.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

Can you tell me what you heard and

saw?

YUSEF KING

Well we were having a private

conversation when the house shook

and then we heard a loud bang!

Thats when my friend Tim ran to

the window and saw holes in the

concrete and that was it.

DETECTIVE BRONSON studies YUSEF.

POLICE OFFICER

Hey Bronson, take a look at this?

DETECTIVE BRONSON walks into the closet, turns on his

flashlight.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

(under his breath)

What in the world

DETECTIVE BRONSON can see a doorway with a set of stairs

leading downward.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

Any idea where these stairs go?

YUSEF KING

What stairs?

DETECTIVE BRONSON turns around and lifts up his flashlight,

a zombie-like creature manifests and grabs DETECTIVEBRONSON by the neck.

DETRECTIVE BRONSON, unstraps his 9-milimeter pistol and

fires three rounds into the creatures midsection. The

creature releases its grip, stumbles back then barrels

forward. DETECTIVE BRONSON fires another shot into its

skull killing it, as it falls back six more zombies replace

it.

DETECTIVE BRONSON fires three more rounds and begins to

back away but another zombie appears behind him, he is

surrounded.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

Help!

DETECTIVE BRONSON fires a single shot, all goes dark.

DETECTIVE BRONSON finds himself sitting in a hotel lobby.

DETECTIVE BRONSON

How did I get here?

DETECTIVE BRONSON begins to walk around. The apparitions

stare at him with an odd curiosity. DETECTIVE BRONSON sees

the elevator from across the room, he walks toward it, as

he gets closer the Bellhops ghost appears.

The elevator door opens, the Bellhop disappears and

reappears inside of the elevator.

ELEVATOR

BELLHOP'S GHOST

What floor, sir?

DETECTIVE BRONSON

I don't know, the 50th floor.

BELLHOP'S GHOST

Very well sir.

The elevator ascends to the 50th floor. A bell sounds the

elevator door opens, DETECTIVE BRONSON exits, the doors

shut behind him, he turns around and sees a wraith floating

in the distance, it notices DETECTIVE BRONSON and moves in

his direction.

DETECTIVE BRONSON runs down an adjacent corridor, he sees a

door to his left, but its locked. He sees two more doors

located down an adjacent hallway and runs toward them.

The wraith turns the corner behind him and gives chase.

DETECTIVE BRONSON attempts to open the door, to his right

but its stuck, with his shoulder he rams into the door

forcing it open and runs inside.

HOTEL ROOM

The Wraith moves back and forth, up and down the hallway

searching for DETECTIVE BRONSON. There is silence, then a

slow and deliberate knock, Bronson backs away.

The door burst open, the Wraith moves into the doorway.

DETECTIVE BRONSON pulls out his pistol, fires two shots

that pass right through the apparition.

It moves in closer, DETECTIVE BRONSON points his gun and

continues to back up. Running out of space he crashes

through a window and falls to the pavement below, dying on

impact.

YUSEF'S BEDROOM

YUSEF and his party stand in a void that resembles the

living room of his house, yet it isnt.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Yusef did you touch one of those

symbols?

YUSEF KING

TIM BRIGGS

Then where are we and what

happened to the Detective?

The remaining officers panic and try to find a way out of

the house.

Listen! Listen up everyone, in order for us to get out of

It was me. I got sucked into some

type of portal and next thing I

know, Im running for my life from

malicious spirits that wished todo me harm.

OFFICER DUNN

And you didnt think to tell

Detective Bronson about that?

YUSEF KING

There was a lot going on before

he arrived, we were scared and

didnt know how to explain what

was happening.

The officer stands there stone-faced staring at YUSEF, a

look of anger that changes to regret crosses his mug.

OFFICER DUNN

Sef I think we should leave while

we can.

TIM BRIGGS

Listen man Darlene and me will

back you up, we just need to get

out of here and I dont know get

YUSEF KING

Im not against that.

TIM attempts to open the front door but it wont budge.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Now what?

OFFICER DUNN takes his baton and bashes the window but it

doesnt break.

OFFICER DUNN

What the?....Were trapped with no

way out. They want to kill us all.

OFFICER NOLE one of the officers and second in command

steps forward.

OFFICER NOLE

Dunn get a grip on yourself,

were going to be alright. Ok?

OFFICER NOLE turns to face YUSEF.

OFFICER NOLE

Well make a deal with you, get us

out of this alive and well offer

to protect you and your party.

Agreed?

YUSEF KING

Deal...I have a feeling that this

weapon will protect us all.

Amen.

OFFICER NOLE

Agreed, lets go then.

LIVING ROOM

They walk into the living room, through the double doors

and approach a winding staircase.

STAIRS

YUSEF KING

What do we do?

TIM BRIGGS

Maybe its a way out of this

house and back to our own world.

Frustrated and scared Darlene stops.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Wait, why cant we remain here and

try to find a way out, why do we

have to take the stairs?

YUSEF KING

Dont ask me how I know this, but

we are caught up in a temporal

lobe. Trapped between two worlds,

in order to get back to our time

we must make our way up those

stairs. From there we have to

travel through other dimensions in

order to get back to our world.

OFFICER DONATELLO

If you dont mind Im going to

stay behind and try to find a way

out from here.

OFFICER DUNN

Donatello? We dont know what we

are up against, but now is not a

good time for you to be separating

from the group.

OFFICER DONATELLO

I know captain, but he is just a

boy how can he lead us out of this

shit?

OFFICER DUNN

Sometimes youve just got to have

faith, and now is one of those

times.

OFFICER DONATELLO

Well Im sorry captain but thats

just not good enough.

OFFICER DUNN

Thats it then? When we leave we

will not be back, are you sure

about this?

OFFICER DONATELLO

Yes Im sure.

OFFICER DONATELLO walks to the front door, tries to open

it. OFFICER DUNN watches at a five-year veteran on the

force and a man who was like a brother for the last time.

OFFICER DUNN

Just remember stay together, we

dont know what to expect.

They gradually ascend up the stairs, YUSEF leads the way,

DUNN looks back, doesn't see DONATELLO. After a long and

tiring hike they stand at the top of the staircase looking

down.

Man that was at least 10 flights

of stairs, nothing is what it

seems around here I see?

YUSEF KING

You think?

Staring down a long dimly-lit hallway, YUSEF, DARLENE, TIM,

OFFICER DUNN AND DONATELLO move forward. The hallway gets

darker everyone is immersed in complete darkness, the tip

of YUSEF'S weapon begins to glow. The atmosphere suddenly

grows creepy,

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Tim Im scared.

OFFICER DUNN

Dont worry maam were here to

protect you.

TIM BRIGGS

You know what? Darlene is right,

it feels like the walls are

closing in on me.

OFFICER DUNN

Stay focused.

YUSEF stops.

YUSEF KING

Somethings not right.

The Eradicator begins to vibrate like a pitch fork. YUSEF

points the object in the opposite direction, the vibrations

grow weak. The party moves forward, minutes later they turn

down a dark corridor. The signal grows stronger,

YUSEF KING

Something is here.

A massive hairy creature with mole-like features burst

through the wall and grabs DARLENE, she screams in horror.

YUSEF KING

Everybody duck!

YUSEF points the weapon on the mole-like creature, the

black dial rotates on the weapon then stops on the symbol )

(, an electrical bolt discharges from the device striking

the monster in its temple, it releases its grip on DARLENE

and turns to face YUSEF.

The weapon discharges another round striking the creature

in the chest, it collapses to the ground panting in pain,

finally it stops breathing its chest still smoldering from

the impact.

TIM BRIGGS

What was that thing?

YUSEF KING

I dont know, but whatever it is,we need to be on guard.

Another creature breaks through the wall and grabs YUSEF by

his arm, he manages to break free, swing around the weapon

and discharge two rounds into the creatures skull, it

falls back disappearing from sight.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Lets get out of here before

something much bigger comes along.

YUSEF KING

That is going to be a problem

since we dont know where here is.

TIM BRIGGS

We are definitely not in

Scottsville anymore.

YUSEF KING

Lets get moving.

They reach the end of the hallway, before them looms a

chasm.

TIM BRIGGS

Its an abyss, now what do we do?

Yusef looks back and sees another mole-like creature coming

toward them. The weapon discharges two more rounds,

dropping the creatures in its tracks.

YUSEF KING

We cant go back from where we

came, there is only one thing to

do.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Whats that?

YUSEF KING

Jump.

Darlene and Tim look baffled.

TIM BRIGGSExcuse me did you say jump?

YUSEF KING

Yes. Just trust me, on the count

of three. One. Two. Three!

They grab each others hands and leap off the cliff, the

black dial turns on the Eradicator revealing a symbol.

They free fall down the cliff screaming in terror while up

above five mole creatures look down as the party falls into

the darkness.

A portal appears below them as they fall through it, coming

on the other side they land into a pile of bushes. All

around them are jungle vines.

TIM BRIGGS

Ok, now where are we?

The sky darkens as thunder rumbles in the distance, a dark

mass approaches overhead just over the horizon.

TIM BRIGGS

I dont think this is a safe place

to be.

Giant flying bat-like creatures converge on Yusefs party.

OFFICER DUNN

Run!

The giant flying bats dive out of the sky, the officers

fire their weapons picking off some of the flying horde.

The dial spins on the Eradicator stoppingat the >< symbol,

the weapons muzzle increases in diameter as it fires four

puffs of smoke into the sky, each puff forms into a funnel

cloud that disperses among the horde drawing them into

their funnels until none remain. The team watches the

funnels touchdown and become tornadoes that move away from

the party into the distance.

OFFICER NOLE

Thats some weapon youve got

there.

YUSEF KING

Weve got to keep moving, we are

bound to find our way home

eventually.

The dial stops spinning, the party are surrounded by black

smoke.

TIM BRIGGS

Where are we now?

YUSEF KING

I dont know.

EXT. MOUTH OF A CAVE

Yusef looks around, they are standing in front of a large

cave. Trees surround the area, out of the bushes Darlene

hears a rustling sound.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Shh, you hear that?

TIM BRIGGS

Hear what?

From the trees a three-headed serpent emerges and moves

toward the party.

YUSEF KING

Run!!!

OFFICER DUNN

Quick into the cave.

The officers fire at the serpent, YUSEF and his friends run

inside. Its dark, the serpent closes in on one of the

officers and delivers a fatal bite.

OFFICER DUNN

No! Bill.

The other officers remove their guns and fire at theserpent while retreating into the cave. The serpent pursues

them to the edge of the cave and stops. The snake swallows

the fallen officer whole.

INT. CAVE

YUSEF KING

Shh, just wait, it will go away.

The creature sniffs the air as it approaches the cave,

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Oh no its coming in here!

YUSEF holds out the Eradicator.

YUSEF KING

Everyone back away, slowly.

YUSEF points the weapons at the beast, a burst of light

fires from its tip, striking the giant snake on its side

knocking it backwards, it lands 50 feet away out cold. The

commotion weakens the interior of the cave, rocks fall from

the ceiling.

YUSEF KING

Ha! Ha! Ha!

An unearthly sound radiates from the inner sanctum of the

cave.

TIM BRIGGS

Shh... You hear that?

YUSEF KING

Yeah it sounds like a pack of

dogs, only bigger.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Lets get out of here.

YUSEF KING

I agree.

They run toward the caves entrance there is a loud rumble

as rocks fall from the ceiling sealing them inside.

OFFICER NOLE

Oh no! Now what?

The Eradicator begins to glow, revealing the presence of

six spider-like creatures, 4 feet in height just 50 feet

away from the party. Yusef holds out the weapon, it

discharges a blue light that strikes its target. The

creatures fly back, slamming into each other.

OFFICER DUNN

Nows our chance everybody run!

The party runs into the darkness as a light from the

Eradicator illuminates their path, after what seems like

hours of navigating through the cave, the party stumble

into a vast cavern.

TIM BRIGGS

Yusef turn the dial and get us out

of here.

YUSEF KING

I'm trying, the dial is not

responding.

OFFICER DUNN

Where are we anyway?

OFFICER RUSSO starts to hyperventilate, he struggles to get

his words out.

OFFICER RUSSO

But I cant catch my breath.

OFFICER DUNN

Just hold it together a little

while longer, were almost there.

RUSSO calms down a little.

OFFICER RUSSO

Thank you Dunn, I was losing it

there for a minute.

OFFICER DUNN

No problem Russo, you would have

done the same for me.

OFFICER RUSSO

Damn right.

YUSEF and the rest of the party carefully tread into the

cavern. Water flows down a series of rocks creating

multiple levels of cascading waterfalls. Twelve more

spiderlike creatures emerge from the ceiling above and

drop down on the party. YUSEF points his weapon at them,

the dial turns as the party blinks out of existence and

reappears deeper in the cave.

OFFICER DUNN

Now what?

YUSEF KING

I wish I knew.

Behind them a behemoth stirs in the darkness, YUSEF looks

back and sees a large round object adorned with rows of

long sharp teeth, its movement causing massive tremors

throughout the cave.

YUSEF KING

Its some sort of giant worm, run!

The party moves deeper into the cave eventually running

into a dead end.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Now what do we do? That thing is

closing in on us.

YUSEF steps back and points the weapon at the wall. The

symbol, (*) appears and lights up on the Eradicator. The

muzzle morphs into the form of a bazooka rocket launcher.A fireball fires from the tip of the Eradicator blowing out

chunks of rock just large enough to form a crevice that the

entire party can fit into.

YUSEF KING

Everybody get inside!

They crowd into the space, the beast passes by. YUSEF

points the Eradicator at it and fires, the beast roars in

pain.

DARLENE SCHOFIELD

Now youve done it!

YUSEF KING

What else could I do?

TIM BRIGGS

You could have waited until it

passed.

OFFICER RUSSO

Well its too late now.

There is a loud click as the black dial spins, the cavern

rumbles as the great behemoth moves forward. Darlene loses

her balance and falls backwards, YUSEF reaches for her, at

that same moment the Eradicator opens a portal in the

crevice.

YUSEF KING

Come on!

TIM BRIGGS

But what about Darlene?

They disappear through the portal. YUSEF grabs at the

darkness.

YUSEF KING

Darlene!

INT. HAUNTED HOTEL, LOBBY - CONTINUOUS

The party moves forward, back into the haunted hotel.

YUSEF'S party appear in the lobby.

YUSEF KINGOh Shit not this place again.

TIM BRIGGS

What is this place?

YUSEF KING

This is the place that I came to

before. everyone stay alert.

TIM BRIGGS

Do you think Darlene is still

alive?

YUSEF KING

I hope so, but in order to find

her we need to find a way out of

here. The two men walk toward the

The zombies close in, but at the last second YUSEF and TIM

leap through a doorway that closes behind them. There is a

flash of light as they fall through the portal, falling

into perpetual darkness. Moments later, they find

themselves lying on a patch of grass.

The event causes a chain reaction of traffic accidents

leading to a massive traffic jam as other cars slow down to

see the people who appeared out of nowhere, but the party

is oblivious to this.

OFFICER DUNN

Are we?

YUSEF KING

Yes!

Everybody hugs, some shake hands.

OFFICER NOLE

Were home!

They begin to laugh hysterically moving about in a circle

as people get out of their cars and marvel at what theyre

witnessing.

OFFICER DUNN

Yes!

TIM BRIGGS

But what about Darlene?

Everyone stops dancing, the mood grows solemn.

YUSEF KING

Im going back for her.

TIM BRIGGS

Then Im going to.

No, weve already lost Darlene I

cant risk losing any more of

you. My goal, my responsibility

was to get you home again, Ive

done that. Besides Ill be fine

Ive got the Eradicator

OFFICER DUNN steps forward.

OFFICER DUNN

I just want to say young man,

its been an honor and you have my

deepest gratitude for living up toyour word.

DUNN reaches out as YUSEF shakes his hand.

YUSEF KING

Sorry for your loss.

DUNN waves it off. YUSEF waves to his friends, looks downat the weapon and turns the black dial, an aura of black

and gold light encompasses YUSEF disappears. TIM grabs at

the air, his best friend is gone.
