A Pivot is when a startup re-evaluates its business and decides to go in a new direction with its product or service.
There are two pivot paths throughout the game.
Pivots are more time intensive and more expensive.
“!” spaces are Significant Events and are a mixture of good and bad things that can happen to your company.
Examples: • Product delays• Lawsuits• Add key team members,
giving up additional equity, but increasing revenues.
• Patents granted or acquire another company increasing the final exit value.
