The new, expanded Provo Air Center upgrades the previous facility in a new location with a more luxurious 9350 square foot space, enhanced privacy and security, 15 additional acres of ramp capable of hosting up to Boeing 777s, expanded pilot facilities, multiple arrival and departure halls with enhanced flexibility, private conference rooms, dining space, gift shop, special children’s lounge, dedicated pet area and complimentary upgraded Wi- Fi throughout the entire facility, including the ramp.

Including a main hall, a smaller private hall and a first-of-its-kind ‘drive-thru’ buggy track, the new hall will make the clearance process faster, easier and even more private.

The smaller Evelyn Parlourlocated right in the CustomsHall is for small groups oranyone who needs extra privacy while clearing Customsand Immigration.

Guests are welcomed with cold towel service, beverages and tempting snacks.

Next door, children have their

own lounge to await their flight

or hotel transport. A child

sized art table holds paper and

drawing materials. A carefully

chosen selection of toys, books,

puzzles and games keeps them

happily occupied.

Our beautiful Pirates’ Cave

The Coffee Bar features espresso, cappuccino and a variety of coffees and teas from around the world. Refreshing infused waters and special seasonal drinks are also offered.

The dog park is a welcome first stop for our canine guests. A fenced private park provides a safe place for pets to enjoy some freedom before and after their flights. A small fountain offers clean drinking water.

IMPORTANT! If you are bringing pets with you on your trip you must apply for and receive a stamped Certificate of Pet Import IN ADVANCE from our local Turks and Caicos Dept. of Agriculture. Without it, your pet, and very likely you, will be denied entry into the country. See Traveling With Pets on page 14 for more information.

Our pilot suite includes a flight planning room, spacious private lounge, luxurious snooze room with private cubicles and refreshing shower.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and the ramp. VOIP phones, Wi-Fi printers and USB charging stations mean you can bring your own devices, or use one of our flight planning stations.

A well equipped onsite catering kitchen means an extra sandwich tray, a crew meal or just a snack while on the ground is always available.

The practical side of luxury is making sure that your aircraft linens are laundered promptly and available to you 24/7. Our new onsite laundry means you won’t have a problem retrieving your linens even when your departure date changes.

Customs

Provo Air Center will prepare all documentation in advance of your arrival.

These documents are required to clear Customs and Immi-gration

• Four copies of the General Declaration form listing all crew and passengers on board.• One Immigration form per individual staying in the coun-try, listing name, birthdate, passport number and expiration date, nationality and an address.• One Customs form per last name, i.e. one per family, list-ing names, birthdates, nationality, intended address (hotel, villa, yacht or other) and number of bags.

AIRCRAFTREPAIR

All visitors need a valid passport and visa. Visitors from any of the visa exempt countries listed below do not need a visa.

If you currently hold a US, UK or Canadian visa, regardless of nationality, OR your country is listed below, you do not need a visa to enter the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Aircraft making a tech stop and passengers in transit do not need to clear Immigration, but do need to present an inbound and outbound General Declaration.

Tourists and Residents of the Turks and Caicos may bring in $400 of personal items duty-free. For complete information on current regulations, please visit www.customs.gov.tc.

TRAVELING WITH PETSThe Turks and Caicos Islands Government has recently adopted some strict rules on the importation of animals. If you are bringing pets with you on your trip you must apply for and receive a stamped Certificate of Pet Import IN ADVANCE from our local Turks and Caicos Dept. of Agriculture. Without it, your pet, and very likely you, will be denied entry into the country.

A fee of US $50 must be paid in cash (USD only) upon arrival in the country (per animal).

Some dog breeds are actually prohibited from entering the Turks and Caicos, including

Veterinary services, dog, cat and bird food are available on Providenciales, but not on the outer islands.

IMMIGRATION

If your aircraft is currently at our facility awaiting repair you will probably be sending one or more maintenance technicians shortly. Before you dispatch any technicians please note: It is imperative that you or any maintenance subcontractor you employ be advised that they will be required by our local Immigration Department to have a temporary work permit issued in advance of the arrival of each technician, or they may be denied entrance into the Turks and Caicos. The permit, which costs $750.00 per person, can be arranged through Provo Air Center and billed to your aircraft.

Technicians will also need to present a list of tools with cor-responding value. Customs will charge 7.5% of the total val-ue. If you provide this in advance we will take care of the filing, along with the temporary work permit. Otherwise, the technician must be prepared to pay the fee in cash (USD) directly to customs upon arrival.

FLIGHT PLANSTurks and Caicos local ATC requires that a copy of your outbound flight plan be transmit-ted to them in ICAO format prior to departure, even if a flight plan has already been filed elsewhere on your behalf.

Please provide us with a copy of your outbound flight plan by Emailing concierge@provoaircenter.com Faxing to 713-457-5215 Or providing us with a printed copy prior to departure.

If you have filed through www.fltplan.com, please print a copy in ICAO format.

Did you know our time zone changed? On November 1st, 2015, the Turks and Caicos offi-cially changed from Eastern Time to Atlantic Stan-dard Time (AST). Our local time is UTC-4.

Aircraft with MTOW over 6,000 pounds oper-ating as Part 135 (charter flights) will need a Charter Permit from the Turks and Caicos Civil Aviation Authority. Provo Air Center will au-tomatically obtain this permit on your behalf, once you submit the following documents:

This garden is being turned into a habitat for two iguanas, in cooperation with the Dept of Environmental Management. Iguanas are becoming endangered and are not usually seen on Provo.
