DESIGN CONCEPTthe conversion of pressure into an electrical signal is achieved by the

physical Deformation of Strain Gages which are bonded into diagram of the pressure transducer and wired into a

Wheatstone bridge configurationPressure applied to the pressure transducer produces a deflection of

Diaphragm which introduces Strain to the gagesthe strain will produce an electrical resistance change proportional

to the pressure Strain-Gage Pressure Transducer is used for both static and dynamic

( Fluctuating) pressure Measurement

Materials (and Components)

Strain gages consist of a very fine and thin metallic foil etched in a grid pattern, which is bonded to a device

and used to measure the strain, or amount of deformation of the device when load or pressure is

applied. The resulting electrical output is proportional to the strain.

Because these strain gages are so small that they are negligible in mass, they excel in sensitivity, stability and fatigue with no inertial effect. They are also an easy-to-handle device, whose operating temperature range is

wide. The gages can be used to measure the strain of all kinds of materials, regardless of metal or plastic.

Features:

It use Phenol resins as a backing material. They are employed with glass fibre reinforcement

in a lamination process. YBB series strain gauge has good heat resistance, low creep tendency,

low thermal hysteresis , long-term stability and other characteristics, Ideal for load cell

Methods of Testing and Evaluation

Trying to connect a voltmeter in a circle with the strain gauge and some resistance in addition ( to a battery ( making a simple and cheap circle to find the pressure using another method

And our try was successful .. We can measure the pressure
