• MEDLINE is a database of citations to published biomedical journal articles.
• MEDLINE has almost 19 million citations since 1946
• Currently, citations from approximately 5,600 worldwide journals in 39 languages
• NLM analyzes the content of MEDLINE
articles and assigns Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) to MEDLINE citations.
