Cremona Mondomusica is the most important Exhibition in the world for high quality violin making. Every year the best violin makers and the major producers of accessories and supplies meet the most qualified international buyers as well as professional and amateur musicians. The Exhibition also features a section dedicated to Music Publishing, an historical area that offers books and scores by the best international publishers, and the Performing Arts area with representatives of festivals, conservatories and music academies, orchestras, ensembles, foundations, agencies etc.

In addition to the exhibit area with the best of handmade instruments from all over the world, the Accordion Show also features master classes, historical exhibitions, concerts, seminars, conferences and meetings.

Wind instruments were represented by the clarinetist Milan Rericha, the horn player Nilo Caracristi and the flutists Adriana Ferreira, Jean-Claude Gérard, Francesco Loi and Raffaele Trevisani. The Accordion Show debuted with a rich program with lectures, book presentations, master classes and concerts with Gianluca Campi, Tiziano Chiapelli, Duo Encuentro, Alessandro Fortarel, Gaetano Galbato, Francesca Gallo, Walter Losi, Mauro Manicardi, Claudio Mattioli, Lorenzo Munari, Roberto Rossi, Riccardo Tesi and Luca Zanetti.

Last edition of Cremona Musica has welcomed important musicians like: Maxim Vengerov, Marat Bisengaliev, Yulia Berinskaya, the teachers of Istituto Monteverdi: Francesco Fiore, Laura Gorna, Silvia Chiesa and Giovanni Bellucci who were the protagonists of the Monteverdi Day, the event that Cremona Musica dedicated to the Cremonese conservatory, with seminars dedicated respectively to viola, violin, cello and piano.

An international festival with the most prestigious names of the music scenario

Cremona city center was the theater of the Silent Wifi Concert, with the pianist Andrea Vizzini and the violinist Isabel Gallego. Also many presentations of books and projects dedicated to the world of violin making took place with the participation of Syusy Blady, Danilo Rossi and Mario Brunello. As for the piano, the protagonists were Filippo Gamba, Leonora Armellini, Fernanda Damiano, Sandro Ivo Bartoli, Irene Veneziano, Costantino Catena, Boris Berman, Alberto Nosè, Jura Margulis, Gile Bae, Gaia Sokoli, Massimiliano Genot, Luca Rasca, Axel Trolese, Mariangela Vacatello, Roberta Di Mario, George Vatchnadze, Louis Lortie, Alvaro Siviero, Vanessa Benelli Mosell, Vovka Ashkenazy and The Pianos Trio (Carlo Maria Griguoli, Alessandro Stella and Giorgia Tomassi). Conferences and presentations of books dedicated to the piano were numerous and involved Boris Berman, Ala Botti Caselli, Luca Ciammarughi, Emilia Fadini, Stuart Isacoff and Alexander Kerstan. The Acoustic Guitar Village saw the presence of Mirkoeilcane, Andrea Tarquini, Luigi "Grechi" De Gregori, brother of the most famous Francesco, Andrea Rivera, Teresa Plantamura and Lorenzo Marianelli. John Jorgenson was among the protagonists, along with Clive Carroll and Micky Piperno, of the teaching masterclasses, while Bryan Galloup and Charles Fox, went up for the guitar making masterclasses. Another guest star was Hermann Hauser III. There were also several events dedicated to the composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, who died fifty years ago, including the concert by the Japanese virtuoso Kazuhito Yamashita.

But the protagonists of the 163 events were more than 400!
