the Mt.Fuji Toilet which is portable eco-toilets using chemical tablets to

decompose body wastes. It doesn’t require any water and electricity.

The tablets consists of lime which disinfect the wastes and remove odor. The remaining, after the wastes dealt with the tablet, can return to soil. Besides, the remaining can be used as water retention material for greening desert.

For that purpose, many private companies and governmental organizations introduced the chemical tablets (Japan Self-Defense Forces, Ministry Offices, Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, Tokyo Electric Power Company, NTT group, Tokyo gas, and other private companies and schools)

The tablets were used in Mt. Fuji for free based on the agreement with Yamanashi prefecture.

It is proved that the chemical can disinfect colon bacillus and Staphylococcus aureus.

Cover the bowl with the plastic bag, and level out the bottom.

Put the chemical tablets in the plastic bag.

With the plastic bag in place it is now ready for use!.

Remove and tie off the plastic bag to prevent odors.

Please dispose the used bag in the Collecting Box.

Portable toiletIt can be used as the portable toilet with the attached materials (see the pictures) even where there is no formal toilet facility.

In the panel shaelterThe panel shelter and toilet pots can be used as formal toilet without water and electricity.

※We also plan to develop the panel toilet which can be used without plastic sheet.

Cover the bowl with the plastic bag, and level out the bottom.

Use the poncho as you use the toilet.

Put the chemical tablets in the plastic bag.

Please make sure to tie off the bag. The tablets will eliminate odor and harden the waste.
