Afternoon Tea at The mount Hotel with "Tea for Two and Two

for Tea", a luxurious selection of freshly made scones, finger

sandwiches and all the trimmings, with a warm glass of mulled

wine to compliment your handmade feast.

Up 4 The Downstroke is the UK's premier high energy Soul and RnB Covers Band. Drawing from the classic soul songbooks of Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye as well as contemporary soul artists. The band is fronted by some of the finest soul voices you will hear this side of the Atlantic. Featuring the amazing matt Hoy (Ali Campbell/Wet Wet Wet) , Lindsey butler (Picked by Sir Tom Jones as a finalist on ITV's "The Voice" 2012) and Genevieve sylva (Black Voices/Ray Charles/Nina Simone). The individual band members of Up 4 The Downstroke have played alongside established artists such as, black eyed Peas, eternal, ruby Turner, Lionel richie, beverley Knight, mica Paris, Jaki Graham and shalamar! It is a rare treat to see a band on the commercial circuit in this country, performing this kind of Infused Soul.

The Mount Hotel is a 65 bedroom establishment, the rooms are

located either within the grade II listed manor house, the custom

built accommodation wing or from a beautifully converted

courtyard stables block. We try to cater for everyone’s needs at

the Mount and offer an array of tastefully appointed rooms with

modern en–suite facilities.

We offer a variety of accommodation choices which comprise of

Standard rooms, Executive rooms, Deluxe rooms, Suites and our

Fully Serviced Apartments.

• A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit per person must be received within 10 days of the original reservation being made. Full payment is required either a minimum of 28 days prior to the event or on booking, if less than 28 days to the event.

• In the event of cancellation or reduction of numbers from the original booking, full charges will be made unless spaces are resold.

• Guests are required to pre-order 14 days prior to event taking place.

• Any guests who require vegetarian dishes or have any special dietary needs should inform the hotel a minimum of 14 days prior to their function.

• The Mount Hotel is legally bound not to serve alcohol to persons under 18 years of age or persons intoxicated by alcohol. It is the organisers responsibility to ensure that all guests are over the age of 18.

• For private parties a minimum of diners will apply. Should the number drop below the minimum, the hotel reserves the right to sell space to other clients.

• Management reserves the right to refuse admission.

• The hotel reserves the right to cancel an event and will endeavour to offer alternative dates whenever possible.

• Due to adverse weather conditions in recent years please note The Mount cannot be held liable for any party cancellation made by the organiser.
