THE MOTHER HEN!
The eagle that flies about never takes his eyes from the chicken, his
mission is to destroy what the hen has beautifully started; but the
mother hen gathers under his wings the chicken. So does a champion
gather under his might and strength other people’s aspirations.
The heart that is soaked with inspiration begins to enlarge; it becomes
bigger than the boundaries of family, of faction and or of tribe. Full
with passion, not only to educate his children, but also to educate other
people’s children a man builds a school in which many children will
receive the sustenance of education. With his skill, a passionate doctor
begins a journey which shall be known as his monument, he drives a
hospital to help the ‘sicklings’. A heart full of passion to see others
travelling with ease begins a research either to advance current
transport or to birth a new mode of travelling.
The hunger in some continents nudges a humble heart to help others
find food for themselves, not only to give them food; but that they may
depend on their feet and hands once shown how to use them. Those
who lived in tyrannies proclaim peace, so do those of peaceful nations
keep peace sacred. A president filled with hope for his country begins
a chapter never to be forgotten, a chapter of change. A man in whose
heart God dwells opens his mouth (and his writings) to proclaim the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to people he has seen and those he has not seen,
to nations far and close, to the chickens hatched and yet to be
hatched… he has become the mother-hen to humans and the eagle-of-
joy shall never accomplish his mission.
“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem…” Isaiah 62:6.
