Father Brian Harrington, Pastor

The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community. It is important to reaffirm the importance of the priesthood of Jesus Christ

Please pray for our parish family members who are sick: Ella Mae LeBlanc, Mike Breaux, Leslie Douet, Susie M. Once the Mass has been recorded, Father Harrington will insert a link on our church website (olpscoteau.com) for you and your family to view at your convenience. Please refer to our Website and Facebook page for all other information you may need. As notifications are sent to us from Bishop Deshotel we will then inform our parish family of all events. Please note also that if you do not have internet, and have underlying health conditions and are not able to attend Mass at this time, you can watch the Mass with Bishop Douglas Deshotel on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. on KLFY-TV 10.

Vocation Chalice Prayer Ministry

Please consider participating in this ministry with your family.

Please remember in your prayers: Pam Dore Hebert who was buried from our parish. May she rest in peace. May her families and friends be comforted by our prayer and God’s abundant graces. Thanks to all those who offered prayers & support to her families.

We will CONTINUE having an EXTRA 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday. Our parish life center remains an area for an overflow of parishioners to attend Mass when

the church has filled to capacity. Mass will be livestreamed and Holy Communion will be distributed in the hall. As guidelines change from the governor's office we will post on Facebook and our website the adjustments in all criteria that affects our church.

Call the office for a registration form if you are interested in attending.
