The Feast of the Body & Blood of Christ-Corpus Christi. Even though we are unworthy to be invited to the table of the Lord, He still calls us to come forward and be fed. May our participation in the Eucharist fill us with the presence of the Lord so we can become more like what we eat--the Body of Christ!
Next weekend, a missionary from the Archdiocese of Monrovia in Africa will be here to speak at all the Masses. There will be a 2nd collection.
The Bi-Annual Archdiocesan Priest's Convocation at St. Meinrad is coming up. Fr. Darvin and I will be away from Monday, June 18 until Thursday, June 21. There will be no Masses that week on Mon-day, Tuesday & Wednesday. The Convocation concludes at noon on Thursday, June 18, so I should be back for Thursday evening Mass.

Your Envelope Counts— Your Sunday giving is the largest source of revenue for the parish, providing funding for the opera-tions of the church and the school. If you are out of town or don’t have the time to locate your envelope before Mass or forget to write a check, your financial support of the parish is missing for that week. An easy change in practice is to make your financial gift to the parish by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Six families have their monthly contribution au-tomatically withdrawn from their bank account on the second day of each month and eighteen families on the seventeenth day. Fourteen families have withdraw-als scheduled on both dates. St. Ambrose received $7,745 from EFT transac-tions in May, 16% of the monthly budget. The EFT enrollment form is available on the parish website or in the parish office.

Open School Secretary Position
After 16 years of serving St. Am-
brose as the school secretary, Mary Brown is retiring at the end of the
current school year. We wish her well and know that we will never be able to replace her. However, we are searching for an individual with cleri-cal/office management experience to fill her vacated position. For addi-

Open Bookkeeper Position
Due to parish growth, a new position of bookkeeper has been created. This is a five hour per day, full-year position, sup-porting operations of both the church and the school. The start date for the position is August 1. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to bank deposits, processing disbursements, payroll processing, and account recon-ciliations. The Vocations
Office receives
funds each year
from a second
collection taken
up throughout
the Archdiocese to cover the expenses of
educating our future priests. The archdio-
cese anticipates having about 25 seminar-
ians in formation this fall. Thank you for
your spiritual and financial support which
provides the necessary education and
formation for our priests. Please be gen-
erous in support of this collection and
please continue to pray for vocations!
This year’s collection for the educa-
tion of our future priests will take on
Father’s Day weekend, June 16-17,
2018.

La Solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo-Corpus Christi.
