“ALL OUR NEEDS SUPPLIED”

Imagine the reaction you would get if you were to contact your favorite on-line site and say, “Send me the clothing I need, in my favorite colors and fabrics, everything to fit exactly. Oh, and make this all free of charge!” The people at customer service would think you were pranking them!

Jesus, however; teaches us to pray exactly this way. He teaches us to ask Our Heavenly Father to give us everything we need, purely out of His own goodness and mercy towards us. His prayer also reveals that our greatest needs aren’t those of the body, but of the soul. Six of the seven petitions in the Lord’s Prayer asks for gifts that build and strengthen our life with God.

God alone meets our needs perfectly! Where faith is lacking, He supplies faith. Where health is poor, healing and joy makes us wealthy. Because we needed a Savior to redeem us from sin, He sent us His only Son to die on the cross for us. He reconciled, that is, made us right with the Father. Through Jesus, the Son of God, we confidently pray to our dear Father in Heaven.

Blessed June & July to you!

Pastor Francis L. Schroeder

Bethlehem Meal Ministry,

I am a bit remiss in this. However, many thanks for the frozen meals you provided during my illness/

recuperation and Yolanda’s time of sadness. These meals were a welcome and kind reminder

of the generosity, love and caring given through Holy Cross and your ministries.

God’s Blessing Always,

Charles & Yolanda Schrader

*********************************************************** Holy Cross Family—

Thanks you for all the prayers, cards and support you gave during the time of loss of Yolanda’s

Former Trinity Lutheran School Students

are invited to attend a “Reunion Gathering” on

Saturday, June 3, from 3-6pm in the Family Life Center at Holy Cross

family, etc. Bring pictures to share and any memorabilia

from Trinity Lutheran School that you may have. It’s a very casual cookies and punch reception. If you

would like to take a tour of your old school—Arnold Schafer will be at Trinity

from 10-12 & 1-3 to show you around.

Mission In Motion/Mission Pledge Walk

Friday, June 23, 2017 from 5-6pm. Two of our LWML Representatives—

Nancy Beckcom and Laurenda Wolford will be walking in

this Mission Pledge Walk while attending the National

They are accepting donations for participating in the walk

and are asking the congregation to make a donation/pledge

to help support the designated LWML Mission Grants.
