Keep headlines short. Provide a clear call to action. Always mention the offer in your headline. Avoid using a question as your headline. Bold compelling text. Use Bullets versus paragraphs. Have a clear and visible privacy policy. Avoid links. Visitors shouldnʼt be directed away from the landing page. Make sure to include a closing statement after a bulleted list. Keep it short and simple. Three to four fields max. Form and text should be above the fold. Visitors shouldn't have to scroll to see forms or submit information. Adding an optional question like “What is your biggest challenge?” can help you gain valuable customer insight. Be clear about offer. If offering a white paper, people like to know how many pages they are downloading. I.e. "Download Free 10-page report." Include image of offer.
