Their Sunday morning presentaon of Psalms on the Street was fantasc. I love the fact that Lee and Elizabeth focus on depth rather than cuteness in children’s music. This musical has been an opportunity to teach Scripture, Scripture context, and doctrine in ways that make it fun to learn. Many, maybe most, churches have abandoned children’s music. I am thankful we have not. It takes me and volunteers and can be frustrang at mes, but it pays off now and for the future of worship music in the church. Leaders are being trained. Worshipers are being developed. Thanks, kids, for doing a great job of leading us in worship. FBC-101 is just a week or so away. On Sunday aſternoon April 22 at 4:00 pm, I’ll be leading 101 in Room 133. You can enter through the Fellowship Hall doors with the blue awning in the back and come straight down the hall to the room. You’ll have an opportunity to learn something of our history, doctrine, values, and pracces at FBC. Bring all the quesons you have. At the end of our session, Danny Bryson will take everyone on a tour of our facilies. If you are a newer member who has yet to take this class, please come. If you are a visitor who wants to know more, please come. It’s fun me. The me passes quickly. It’s enjoyable. Hope to see you there. We begin a four-week series this Sunday called Keeping Company with the Risen Christ. All this build up to Easter and then we move in other direcons. Not this year. Let’s hang out with the risen Jesus and learn from him. We will be considering doubt, commitment, mission, and ascension. Lots of things vie for our Sunday aenon this me of year. BUDGET REPORT Education / Outreach Ministry

Everyone needs to find a group and Connect!

Connect Groups help you: Connect with God!

Connect with Each Other! Connect with New People!

Directories and Guides are available at Welcome Centers. Invite your friends or better yet, bring them Sunday at 9 or 10:30 and we will help them find a Connect Group! All Adult Connect Group Leaders Meeting on Sunday, May 6 at 5 P.M.

We are needing someone to drive for our Van Outreach on 4th and 5th Sun-days. Contact me about the possibility.

We are trying a little different format for Connect Groups and worship during our Mission Celebration, April 29. I appreciate that you all are pretty flexible and cooperative when trying something new when it has a good purpose. Our pastor and staff support Kyle, our Missionary Pastor in this effort.

By combining Connect Groups together our attend-ers will get to hear from more missionaries with different and varying stories. It will also give us more opportunities to learn about what God is doing in different parts of the world.

In the past the missionaries have spoken in Connect Groups during both hours and were not able to worship. Many missionaries usually worship in homes or small venues and don't get to have a larger cooperate worship experience. By having one worship we allow the missionaries an oppor-tunity to be in worship with our church family. This is so encouraging and uplifting for them. This will allow the whole church together to celebrate what God is doing around the world. So, our schedule on Sunday, April 29 will be: 9:00 A.M. - All Connect Groups 10:30 A.M. - All in one Worship Service We will combine Connect Groups at 9:00 A.M. in this way: Senior Adults - in the Worship Center Median Adults - in the Gym Young and Single Adults in the Fellowship Hall Youth - in the Youth Worship Center Children 3rd - 6th grades-in the Children's Worship Room 208 Children 1st - 2nd grades - in the first grade room 203. Preschool - as usual in regular rooms Thanks for your support of our missionaries.

Love, Danny

Keep Inviting Your Friends Back!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jason & Whitney Jeffery and family in the death of his father, James Jeffery. May God bless and comfort you.
