Published in 1910, this is a story of a young wife who desperately journeys on a train to the grave of her husband, a doctor, for some word of solace. Finding none, on her journey back home, she sits next to a woman of lower stature. As the train pauses, the older woman talks to the wife of the kindness of a doctor, the young woman's husband! The woman's story is a healing balm to the young wife.
