Lots of bus time = constant Mean Girls quoting, singing "Happy Birthday" to Jessica's Dad, lots of convos about Charley Sheen, fruit snack revelations, and yes, siniging

Lunch at Schnips' parents' restaurant... can you say BEST MAC AND CHEESE EVER??

I LOVED singing "Carmen" in McDonald's. I know what you're thinking... really, ladies? Are we really that group of girls? Yes, we are. We got chatting with a group of older people (so cute) and they begged us to sing something. How could we say no? And what are the pianos on iPhones for, if not to give a starting pitch to anyone in need? Needless to say we got a standing ovation and several "O-H" "I-O"s!

I'll never forget when Schnips offered us up to families for a second night for an extra charge : D

This year's tour was so much fun!  One of my favorite parts was getting to see Dr. Schnipke let loose a little.  With his new experiences with fruit snacks and his new appreciation for whenparentstext.com, it showed us how much fun he can be.

This has got to be a Glee record or something.

Not sure I've ever been part of a more epic massage line...

My Last Glee Tour By Rachel Coyle

This year's WGC tour was incredible! It was so wonderful that I almost forgot it was my last WGC tour. Although, every time I did remember, I got all mushy and emotional (apologies to anyone who had to endure those moments. Though they will only get worse as I near graduation).

There were so many amazing moments on tour, it's difficult to pick just a few to mention in this article. Some of my favorite moments took place on the bus. A bunch of us introduced Dr. Schnipke to the snack foods of our childhoods, such as Gushers (any chance this is real fruit?) and Fruit by the Foot (which he tried to braid). Then he, in turn, introduced us to the wonderful world of WhenParentsText.com. At one point, Schnips had us texting our own parents to ask them if they would still love us if we dropped out of school to become "dancers" (you know what I mean). In case you were wondering, Amy's dad loves her unconditionally, but her mom does not.

Also, Carl, our bus driver, was the man.

Oh! And we got to sing at my high school! Notre Dame Academy in Toledo? That adorable little Catholic all-girls school with the uniform skirts? Yep. That was me a few years back. AND touring through Toledo meant that Sarah L., Nancy, Amy and I got to stay with my family for a night. I loved seeing them, and having them in the audience at Notre Dame.

Another of my favorite tour memories was Northwestern. The campus was lovely, our clinic was amazing (we need to teach Schnip or Kelly to scat), and Nancy demanded we eat lunch at a local place, which led to a nice meal at the world's most adorable hippie-tacular, cash-only, eggplant and fresh fruit cafe.

While in Chicago, some 21-year-old members and our lovely male tour buddy Andy danced the night away at one of BoysTown's most upscale clubs. We were joined by my best friend from high school, Tyler. I only get to see him a couple times per year, so that made a spectacular addition to my tour memories.

All in all, this year's tour was one of the best weekends I've had all year. The dance parties backstage during concerts, the nonstop Mean Girls quotes, and the local ice cream shop trips with our host families....each just one more addition to the never-ending list of reasons why I love the OSU Women's Glee Club.

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you!
