Authority of India (NHAI) is increasing, indicating that road companies might increasingly be choosing the concilialion rou Le for claims.

DebL resolution, Covid­relatecl liquidity concerns, and a long legal process acting as clelerrent are some reasons puslling firms to pur­sue conciliation. At present, HCC, Sadbhav Engineering, Ashoka Buildcon, and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL& FS) are p u rsuing this process.

Besides, conciliation is an easier and fairer process for companies already facing liqu idity issues and cannot offer a bank guarantee to avail of 75 per cent of arbilralion award at a later stage.

Tatas: No formal proposal yet from SP Group on settlement DEV CHAITTRJEE Mumbai, 15 October

Shapoorji PaUonji (SP) Group, which owns 18.5 per cent stake in Tata Sons, has not sent any formal request to separate from Tata Group, the l atter said on Thursday.

"After the Supreme Court (SC) order on September 22 disallowing SP Group to pledge any Tata Sons shares, SP Group issued a statement that clay slating iLs desire to separale from Tata Group. This stalement resulted in considerable confusion and speculation in Lhe media," said Ta La Sons.

"Tata Group states it has to date not received any formal request or proposal f'rom SP Group on this. Since the matter is sub-judice before the SC, Tata Sons will wait for the

court proceedings to resume, which are scheduled for Oclober 28," clarified Lhe staLemenL from Tala Sons.

This is not the first time Tata Group has reiLeraLed ils stand that it would respond only in court, leading to a set­t lement deadlock between the Lwo parties. On September 22, SP Group had told the SC it was ready to sell its stake in Tata Sons, provided it got an

early, fair, and equitable solu­tion. In a statement soon after, SP Group said Lhe separation from Tala Group was neces­sary clue to the potential impacl Lhis conlinuing litiga­tion could have on Lhe liveli­hoods and the economy.

SP Group has pegged the valualion of its Tata Sons stake at �l.78 tri l l ion. Tata Group has not given any state­ment on the valuation.

The 27-per cent rise in Tata Consultancy Services shares ancl a probable valuation of a SuperApp (developed by Tata Sons) have added more value to stake held by Tata Sons.

A corporate lawyer said the firm now does not have an option b ut to negotiate.

According to the articles of association (AoA), Tata Sons has the first right of refusal so any proposal for shares charig­ing hands wou ld first need to come to Lhe board of Tata Sons. SP Group owns 18.37 per cenl in Tata Sons, while Lhe majority 66 per cent is con­trolled by Tala Trusts. Edtech unicorn Unacademy, which recently raised $150 million from SoftBank and Facebook, said it would have an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback on December 10 for its employees. This would be the second such liqu idity event at the company fou ncled five years back.

लिकरच धोरण ठरिूत्यानंतर हॉटेल, रेस्टॉरंट ५० टक््े क््मतेने सुर्करणय्ाबाबत नकुतीच परवानरी दणेय्ात आली. आता मटे््ोसेवा सुर् करण्यात आली आहे, रेल्वेमध्ये रद््ी होऊ नयेयासाठी लोकलच्या फेऱ्याही वाढशवण्यात आल्या आहेत.राजय्ातील शसनमेारहृाबंाबतही सकारातम्कता ठवेनू शनश््ितकरण्यात आलेल्या एसओपीनुसार शसनेमारृहे सुर्करण्यात येतील. आतापय््ात अनेक व्यवहार बंद होते. तेआपि एकेक सुर् करत आहोत. मनोरंिन क््ेत्् हेराज्याच्या अथ्ाचि््ाला रती देिारे क््ेत्् आहे. हे क््ेत्् बंदठेवण्यात आपल्याला शकंवा िासनाला आनंद नाही, असेमुख्यमंत््ी उद््व ठाकरे यांनी स्पष्् केले आहे.

लॉकडाऊनचीिेळ येऊ नयेतहवाळय्ात कोतवड-19 चाप््ादुभा्ाव वाढू शकतो, असाइशारा देणय्ात आलय्ानेआपलय्ाला काळजीपूव्ाकपुढे जायचे आहे. महाराष््््ातआपण अनलॉकटपप्य्ाटपप्य्ाने करणय्ामागेमहाराष््््ात पुनह्ा लॉकडाऊनकरणय्ाची वेळ येऊ नये,हाच उद््ेश आहे.

एसओपीचे पालन, सव्चछ्ता,सुरत््कतता, प््ेक््कांनी मासक्लावणे, सॅतनटाईज करणे आतणशारीतरक अंतर पाळणे हेगरजेचे असलय्ाचेही मुखय्मंत््ीिाकरे यावेळी मह्णाले.

एसओपी निन््ित झाल्यावर सुर् करण्याबाबत नवचार : मुख्यमंत््ीबॉवलिूडला संपविणंयाचेपंंयतंन सहन करणार नाहीमुंबई ही महाराष््् ्ाची आश्थाकच नाही तरसांस्कृशतक रािधानी म्हिूनही ओळखलीिाते. हॉशलवूड शसनेमांना तोडीस तोड असेशसनेमे बॉशलवूडमध्ये बनत आहे. याबॉशलवडू शसनमेाचंा चाहतावर्ा िरभर आह.ेशसनेमासृष््ी हा एक मोठे मनोरंिन उद््ोरक््ते् ्असनू या क््ते््ामळु ेअनकेानंा रोिराराचीसंधी शमळते. शसनेमांमुळे आपले कलाकारलोकश््पय होतात. परंतु रेल्या काहीशदवसांपासून काही ठराशवक वर्ााकडूनबॉलीवूडला बदनाम करण्यात येत आहे, हीबाब अत्यंत वेदनादायक आहे. बॉशलवूडलासंपवण्याचे शकंवा इतरत्् हलवण्याचे िेप््कार होऊ पाहत आहेत. ते कधीही सहनकेले िािार नाहीत, अिा इिारा मुख्यमंत््ीउद््व ठाकरे यांनी शदला आहे.

२४ माच्ा २०१२ रोिी दुपारी ४.१५ च्या सुमारासरािापेठ पोशलस ठािे हद््ीतील चुनाभट््ी पशरसरातघडलेल्या प््करिात ही शिक््ा झाली. शिक््ाझालेल्यांमध्ये पालकमंत्््यांसह सारर सुरेिखांडेकर, िरद कािीराव िवंिाळ व रािू शकसनइंरळे यांचा समावेि आहे. याप््करिात सरकारीपक््ातफ््े साहायक सरकारी वकील शमशलंद िोिीयांनी यिस्वी युब्कतवाद केला.

अशी घडली होती घटनाया घटनेची ति््ार िहर वाहतूक िाखेत काय्ारत कम्ाचारी उल्हास रौराळे यांनीरािापेठ पोशलस ठाण्यात नो्दशवली होती. दोषारोपपत््ानुसार, घटनेच्या शदविी२४ माच्ा २०१२ रोिी दपुारी कागँ््सेचय्ा ततक्ालीन आमदार व शवद्म्ान कशॅबनटेमंत््ी ॲड. यिोमती ठाकूर आपल्या वाहनाने काही काय्ाकत्य्ाा्सह चुनाभट््ी तेरांधी चौक या एकेरी मार्ााने िात होत्या. त्यावेळी तेथे कत्ाव्यावर असलेलेवाहतूक पोशलस उल्हास रौराळे यांनी एकेरी मार्ा असल्यामुळे त्यांचे वाहनअडशवल.े तय्ावर ॲड. यिोमती ठाकरू याचंय्ासह चालक सारर, काय्ाकत्् ेिरदव रािू यांनी वाहनाखाली उतर्न उल्हास रौराळे यांच्यासोबत वाद घातला.

मी पूर्णपरे निर््ोष आहेन्यायालयाच्या निर्णयाचा सन्मािच आहे. मीनिर््ोष असूि, हायकोर्ाणत अपील केली आहे.

आठ वष्ाा्पूव््ीचे हे प््करर आहे. त्यावेळी जी तत्कालीिराजकीय पनरस्थिती होती, त्यात ते राजकीय रबावात हेप््करर घडले. परंतु मी पूर्णपरे निर््ोष आहे.हायकोर्ाणत न्याय नमळेल, असा नवश््ास आहे.
