1939 memoir/autobiography by William A. Simonds, second son of Henry A. Simonds and Elizabeth Goodnough Simonds. The family moved from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Bothell, Washington, in 1907. William went on to work as a journalist and published author of books, and to direct Greenfield Village for Henry Ford.
