Madonna was one
of the most hardworking rock stars
of ‘80’s.
Madame C.J. Walker was not
only a inspiration to African
American women ,
but to ALL women.
In 1910 , she opened her first factory.
IN 1919 ,
Women finally had the right to vote.
In 1932 , Frances Perkins becomes
Secretary of Labor under President
Roosevelt and the first woman to hold a Cabinet- level office.
In 1942 , World War II
sent so many men out of
the country.
.
Which left women with paying jobs.
But in 1945 , when the men came back from
Europe and Asia ,
The Women had to turn over their
jobs .
This left them with the lowest-paying jobs society had at the time.
20 years later ………….
In 1963,The Equal Pay act passes .
IN 2001,More Than 9 million women
owned companies.
