Who Are We?We are a therapeutic school that helps children with developmental disorders. The school caters to children ages 4 to 21 with neurological delays of relating and communicating with others, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

How Do We Work?

We have adopted the Developmental Individual Differences Relationship-based DIR Model, developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan.We rely on relationship-based learning to build a strong foundation for emotional, intellectual and social development of the children.We conduct an extensive evaluation to formulate an intervention program which is tailor-made to fit the challenges faced by children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Literacy program at Rebecca School focuses on students’ ability to comprehend by introducing them to a wide range of literature including stories, poems and plays.

Students get to enhance their figurative thinking instead of memory skills.

Mathematics

The math curriculum includes specific mathematical concepts that help children relate to real world experiences rather than auto-learning textbook formulas.

With the guidance of teachers, students discover and build their own knowledge of numbers, concepts and arithmetic.

Science

The science-based activities organized for the students help them discover the natural world around them.

The observations of the students give way to possible solutions of queries instigated by their environment.

Social Studies

The curriculum of Social Studies supports children with neurodevelopmental delays to confront their challenges of relating and communicating with the environment and people around them.
