I learned from Mrs. Sanberg that she liked coming here but liked vactions more, and I was surprised when she said she worked at three diferent places then here which are Wood-land Forest, University Place. Also I asked her what the title would be for a song about her life and she said that it would be “Happy Trails” or “Fly Me to

the Moon.” Her favorite book is a biography of Abraham Lincon called Team of rivals. Her favorite foods are Mexi-can and fish tacos. She is different than what she looks like!

Haney. He has been teaching gym at this school for almost a year now. He said it’s hard

working with kids, but it is fun.

Haney’s favorite part about working here is getting to know all the children that go to

school here. It bothers him

when the kids in P.E. don’t follow directions, even after he explained

the whole thing to them. I asked him if he could

have any other job at this school what would it be?

He said that he would teach technology.

The Tuscaloosa Magnet School SGA came up an idea to have a canned food drive for the people that don’t have food in other

countries, like Africa. The students that I interviewed

were Cole, Amelia, and Allison. The students said they feel good about helping because they feel hopeful that people will survive

with the food students gave. Mrs. Poe’s class won because they collected 109 cans.

The class runner up was Mrs.Gerkin’s class, which collected 99 cans.
