The ClubLink Scholarship This scholarship is important to me because I have always valued the impact of educaon in my life. Already in my first few weeks of University I have been taught more than just the course curriculum. Whether its balancing equaons in class or finding the right balance between pracce and study me, I firmly believe that these experiences aid in my personal growth now and even more so in the long run. “This scholarship is important to me because I have always valued the impact of education in my life. Already in my first few weeks of University I have been taught more than just the course

curriculum. Whether it’s balancing equations in class or finding the right balance between practice and study time, I firmly believe that these experiences aid in my personal growth now

and even more so in the long run. I am extremely thankful Golf Canada has given me this scholarship as it has helped minimize many outside factors and has allowed me to focus on my

academic studies and athletic career. “

The ClubLink Scholarship

“The ClubLink Scholarship is something that I honestly wasn’t expecting to receive. Not only will this help me with my post-secondary education but encourage me to push myself even further academically and as an athlete. I am really grateful I was

awarded this scholarship as this past golf season I tore my EPL tendon in my thumb which needed to be operated on, ultimately ended my summer season in the middle of June. I can’t thank ClubLink and Golf Canada enough for what they have done for

me by helping me purse my dreams.”

The Connor/Spafford Scholarship

“I am so thankful and proud to receive the Connor/Spafford Scholarship. These funds will aid me in perusing my dream of playing NCAA golf and furthering my education. I am currently in my sophomore year at Wagner College, located in New York City. I am enjoying the support and competitiveness of being a member of the Wagner Seahawk Women's golf team. I was proud to make second team all-conference as a freshman.

My sophomore year so far has been great. I recently won my first ever college tourna-ment, along with my team also winning! Thank you to the Connor and Spafford fami-lies, for your financial support. It is greatly appreciated. You have made many young

female golfer's dreams come true, and I feel grateful to be one of them.”

The Mary Ellen Driscoll Scholarship

“I am honored to be this year’s recipient of the Mary Ellen Driscoll Scholarship. Your generous contribution has allowed me to pursue my undergraduate degree at the

University of Victoria. My dream is to work as a genetic engineer one day. In addition to my commitments as a student athlete, I also enjoy volunteering within the community. Last year, I volunteered with the Vikes program as an assistant golf coach. My favourite program is our girls only club, which aims to grow the game in

young girls, and create long lasting friendships. This year I will also be volunteering as a peer mentor to first year students.

The Mary Ellen Driscoll Scholarship has helped me pay for my tuition this year, allow-

ing me to continue my education here at the University of Victoria. Without your generous donation, I would not have been able to take additional classes this year.

Thank you for your support, and your continued support of the Golf Canada Foundation. “

The William Kucey Scholarship

“I would like to thank the Golf Canada Foundation for awarding me the William Kucey schol-arship. Golf has played such an important part in my life, helping me to grow as both an athlete and an individual. As I pursue my studies at the University of Toronto, this scholar-ship will help to cover the costs that come with following my dreams. In the future, I hope to attend medical school and eventually become a pediatric psychiatrist. This will be a long and difficult journey, and I greatly appreciate the support of the Golf Canada Foundation as I continue with my studies as a student athlete on the Women's Golf Team at U of T. I am honored to receive this award in memory of William Kucey, who made an important impact on his community and the world of golf. This sport has greatly shaped my character and has taught me the importance of giving back to others in the way that so many people have done for me. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to play golf at the university level while furthering my education with the aid of this scholarship.”
