• When I was in elementary school I watched a film strip that I never forgot. It was called “The Lottery” and it was based upon a short story of the same name by Shirley Jackson. When I first read “The Hunger Games” I thought of this movie and the similarities between the two stories. Watch the movie and pay attention to any similarities you see between the two films. Jot down the similarities.
