If not you, then who?

2021 EnrolmentsPrincipal’s Interviews for admission to LORDS in 2021 have already started.

Should you or anyone you know be interested in a LORDS education, please ensure an application is received by our Registrar as soon as possible. This is especially important for families looking to enrol siblings as we may have wait lists for some Year levels as the year progresses and places are offered.

A tour of the school may also be arranged by phoning the school.

Application forms may be downloaded from our website (look under enrolments) or a copy collected from the School Office.

As part of 4B's Environment Project Based Learning unit, students looked at how we can take care of our animals and their habitats. The class decided to create a beautiful bird that showed people how amazing our animals are the importance of making changes to help protect them.

Each student created individual pages of hand painted watercolour feathers which were then layered to create the bird's plumage.

The collaborative piece was finally put together once all students returned earlier this week.

"We are very proud of it," said 4B teacher Mrs Denise Macdonald. "Everyone in our class participated in this beautiful creation making it truly a collaborative effort!"

Welcome back to the LORDS Voice! Now that school has returned for all Year levels, we will return to the LORDS Voice as our official newsletter.

However, We Are The LORDS received so much positive feedback from our families during social isolation that we don't want to give that up either!

So we are making it the best of both worlds. The LORDS Voice will be produced and distributed every fortnight and contain regular information such as reports on student activities and important notices.

We Are The LORDS will be produced on the alternate week and maintain its less formal approach with links to video clips and interesting websites as well as activities around the LORDS campus.

Of course we are always interested in contributions from our community so please feel free to email [email protected] with your contribution or suggestion.

Happy Reading!
