an afternoon stroll through downtown’s Waterfront Park to find a breathtaking sight: 100 Akebono cherry trees popping with pink and white petals. These special cherry trees

were given to Portland in 1990 and they are a local gem to mark the beginning of the season.

For cherry trees in a more traditional setting, visit the Portland Japanese Garden, heralded

St Patrick’s Day Festival - Celebrate this fun-filled holiday at Kells Irish Pub. This fantastic festival includes traditional Irish food and drink, Irish riverdancers, boxing, and of course, non-stop Irish folk music. See concierge for ticket details and a schedule of events.

Shamrock Run - Showcasing the best of downtown Portland, the Shamrock Run will celebrate 42-years running in 2020. There is a 5K and a 10K run included.

The Tulip Festival - See 40 acres of tulips and daffodils in bloom, visit the gift shop & cafe, and check the weekend events schedule for Tulip Fest at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. Children ages 12 and younger are free.

Domaine Roy Vineyard - Join Chardonnay Celebration in collaboration with Spatzle and Speck Catering. This meal will feature a flight of organically farmed chardonnay paired with locally sourced and farmed food offerings. Nineteen Twenty - This dance show is an exploration deep into the heart and soul of the 1920s. Delving into the explosion of creativity in music, art, culture, and dance of this amazing era, BodyVox will translate these forces into a vivid and vibrant dance work that is classic BodyVox.

Louise: Louise grew up in Las Vegas and just relocated to Portland. She has been in the hospitality industry for 4 years and is big on arts & crafts, calligraphy, and baking. A huge dog lover, she owns 3 rescue dogs. Portland hits all of the points that she enjoys: food, drinks, music, books, and the great outdoors.
