MARCH 25, 2012 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: What a great way to start out a new season! Spring is definitely here and we have surely gotten some rain these past few days. And although it makes things a little dreary, we sure needed it. At least we have been spared a lot of the thunderstorms and dangerous weather up to this point. The fact is, God continues to bless us in this area with so many beauties and wonders of His Creation. We have so much to be thankful for. Really, the weather for the past several months couldn’t have been any nicer! Sunday was a great Lord’s Day as always. We had a great worship together and God blessed us with yet another day and opportunity to give Him glory and praise. Sunday morning after services we had a great agape meal gathering. I really love spending time with my brethren and being encouraged by one another’s fellowship. Sunday was also a wonderful day because we have several respons- es. Sunday morning my niece, Minnie Young, responded to the invitation asking for prayers and forgiveness, as well as for strength to be a better Christian. I am thankful for Minnie and her good example to us all. I hope we are all striving to give God our very best and striving to do His Will completely. Let’s remember our sister in our daily prayers and encourage her in her desire to be a better Christian. Sunday evening we also had a response. Our brother, Roger Crockett came forward asking for forgiveness as well. He expressed the desire to be a strong Christian and to set a better example for others. Again I am thankful for brother Roger. He has had a rough time lately with many struggles and trials in his life. Let’s pray for him and encourage him in every way we can that he may be everything which he desires for His God. Finally, let me challenge us all to give God our very best every day of life. We will never regret putting God first and obeying His precepts, because we know what God has promised the faithful. Furthermore, those promises will not only benefit us today, but as we also know they will benefit us eternally. Praise be to God for His love, truth and care in every aspect of this life and the life to come. Hope to see you this coming Lord’s Day in worship. Won’t you be present and ready to give God your very best? Until then, may God bless us all as we strive to do all of His Will! *Ray Sullins*

ELDER’S CORNER:

Greetings from the elders at K.E.: As published in our membership book, the annual BIM Lectureship will be heldduring the dates of May 13-16. The theme ofthe lectureship this year will be on worship. The subject has been greatly neglected in thechurch of our Lord resulting in many mis-conceptions concerning what worship is andwhat is required of us when we worship ourGod. We hope that you are making plans toattend every lesson. A schedule of speakersand subjects will soon be available. In April, several plans have been madeto clean and upgrade our building andgrounds. We are planning a special work dayon April 14th. On that day we will have themen's breakfast. All who are going to help, men and women, are invited to come and eatbreakfast before we begin the work day. Asign-up sheet will be provided for those whoare going to come to the breakfast so thatthere will be enough food. Looking forwardto our being there to help with so manythings that need to be done.Remember our sick in your prayers. Hopingto see you all at all of our services. *Jerry Sullins & Gary Dalton**************************************************************************
