The Little Dandelion

The Little Dandelion When Grandpa Sun spreads his first ray of light on Mother Earth, animals and plants open their eyes. “Waa…Waa…” “My goodness!” Whose child is crying?” Grandpa Sun asks Mother Earth. “Did anyone forget to feed her baby?” chirps a bird. “Hey! Come quickly! She’s right here,” a rubber tree calls out. All the animals run towards him and saw a feathery seed staring at them with teary eyes under a tree. “Young one, why are you crying?” asks a squirrel. The little seed brushes her tears away and says, “My mummy is gone!” “What is your name?” a deer asks. “I’m Kiddy.” “Why don’t we bring her round and ask whether anyone has been her mother,” someone suggests. With only a single hop, she easily lifts herself onto the back of a rabbit. Then they go all over the place to seek for Kiddy’s mummy. “Everyone does any of you know her mother?” the animals ask as they move. After a long morning, they cannot find out who or where Kiddy’s mum is or even where Kiddy is from. “What should we do?” the rubber tree scratches his head. “How can a little seed like me suddenly end up here all by herself?” wonders the squirrel. “Oh, I know!” exclaims the rubber tree excitedly. “Do tell us, please,” prompt the animals.
