Church goal: $35,000
Let Us Remain on Offense
While we pray for and seek to secure our religious liberties in the
Commonwealth of Virginia, let us not shift into a defensive, bunker
mentality. Let’s continue to boldly and joyfully speak the truth in love.
Let’s stay on the offense with the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ! He rescued us from our sins and has given us the joyful
privilege of sharing the gospel to the world. The North American
Mission Board is a great partner in helping us take the gospel across
our country and continent. Please pray about your part in reaching our
$35,000 goal to support hundreds of needed church planting efforts.
Jesus is and always has been the hope of our nation because He is the
only true hope for every person. Let’s keep praying, giving, and going
with the good news!

Every Christian parent desires that his or
her child will trust in Christ as their
Savior. The implications are enormous
and eternity hangs in the balance. This
is the most important decision your child
will make. This seminar is designed to
help parents have the knowledge and tools necessary to lead
their child into a relationship with Jesus.
Thursday, March 26, 7:00-8:00 PM
SMRBC Room MP-1
The Women’s Ministry invites all ladies to
our first Koinonia (fellowship). We will
have a time of praise and worship music, a
short devotion, and sweet fellowship
around the dessert table. Watch for more
information coming soon!

Men, softball season is just around the corner. Our church team,
which plays in a competitive recreational church league is always
looking for able-bodied men (must be at least 14 years of age) who
are interested in participating. Please contact Randall Atkins at
[email protected] for more information. Then watch the church
bulletin for announcements concerning practice times and upcoming
games. The first game is March 26.
On Sunday, March 15th the parents of our graduating seniors will gather for the Building Block 7 Parent Seminar.
This gathering will be focused on discussing 5 areas of readiness for the graduates:
1. Be Ready…Apologetics
2. Be Ready…God’s Plan for Me
3. Be Ready…A Person of Influence
4. Be Ready…Dating and Marriage
5. Be Ready…Life Skills
This final milestone children reach before they leave home is exciting and challenging. This point in life is a
culmination of the years poured into them as parents have led them, taught them, and loved them. Students will
begin making major life decisions including college choice, possible career choice, and a myriad of smaller
decisions that will amount to their life’s direction.
These parents need the continued support of the church family as they transition to loving mentors of their sons
and daughters, so please encourage them and pray for them to finish strong!

Congratulations to

Ron and I would like to send our sincere thanks and gratitude for the outpouring of love following Marcie’s surgery. The meals, cards, calls, visits and
prayers meant more to us than you could ever know. We covet your continued prayers as we sojourn on in this journey of healing and thank our precious Lord for each of you. Blessings, Ron and Marcie Tiedemann

Easter Celebration for Families
Saturday, April 4th 2:00-4:00 PM at Crump Park
For SMRBC families with children through 3rd grade
Family Mission Trip to the Eastern Shore The SBC of Virginia is sponsoring a family mission
trip this summer to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Family Fusion is a multi-day mission experience that
allows children to work with their mom, dad, grandparents, or another family member to meet the
physical and spiritual needs of others through
servanthood and evangelism experiences. Registration
is now open at this link:
https://www.sbcv.org/2020-family-fusion-mission-
camp/
If you have questions or desire more information,
please contact Pastor Dustin in the church office.
Join us for an afternoon of fun at the park. Children will enjoy inflatables, a petting zoo, egg hunt, and an Easter craft to take home. This event is for SMRBC families with children through 3rd grade, but will also present an opportunity for our church to share the Easter message with other families in the community. We are encouraging families to invite unchurched friends and neighbors to this event.
